We've never seen Batman and Joker working together in a film. I'd be interesting to see that dynamic, maybe seeing them form some kind of bond.

Leto was chilling in ZSJL. The epilogue was my favourite bit.

I like Joker as a villain. Not a troublesome sidekick like Dr. Smith.

He'll still be a villain. In the end, he'll betray Batman like Magneto does in all those X Men films. It would take some extreme circumstances for them to work together, so that alone could be interesting. Then of course, Joker would be pushing Batman's buttons a lot, so that would be in character for both. I would like a scene in the second act where Batman and Joker have a serious bonding moment. Maybe Batman apologizes to Joker for the whole chemical dip accident. I'd like to see Joker be nice and out of character briefly. In the end when he betrays Batman, Bats can ask him if he was lying or pretending the whole time, and Joker can say, no, it was all true, but his nature his destruction, so he's still going to betray Batman. It would be like the scorpion and the frog tale, but with Batman and Joker. Batman would outsmart Joker in the end because he would expect Joker to betray him of course, but he could say that he was hoping Joker wouldn't, hoping for some kind of progress. He tells this to Alfred while both are in the Batcave. Meanwhile, Joker is in some kind of prison again, back to square one. A never-ending cycle.

Maybe I should cut this Batman some slack he is only in his 2nd year after all so maybe him asking for help isn’t so absurd people get themselves in over their heads every once in a while.
