I miss the days of director commentary and other features on DVD releases.

I guess if you wanted, you could redeem your digital copy on iTunes. I prefer Movies Anywhere. Director's Commentary is where it is at. Really enjoyed First Contact with Riker and Infinity War with the Russos AND the writers.

Excerpt from Cannibal Campout Commentary:

Interviewer: So Joe, how did you come up with the idea of a flightsuit-wearing, machete wielding killer?

Joe: Well, I did the work. The heavy lifting. These things just don't come to you, it's not like inspiration. You need to really think it out. Who is he, why is he? First, we had to consider what we had in the closet that we could get really messed up. And we had this old machete laying around. So I thought real hard. Who wears a flight suit? Ex-air force. So we knew the killer had to be ex-military. And then the machete. Who carries a machete? People cutting their way through jungles. So we knew this ex-pilot had spent time in the jungle. Lots of time. With his machete. Like Tom Hanks with Wilson. That machete was his friend. And he'd do anything for that machete. He spent a long time in the jungle. So he's real hungry. Yeah, cannibalistic hungry. And then I knew we nailed the character.

Just finished it and loved every second of it. I was hopeful after seeing him in his recent films, but Pattinson absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one. The entire cast did. The suit is great. The Batmobile is awesome. I can't wait to watch it again!

I'm glad that they allowed the film to run nearly three hours, but even more thankful that I could pause for a bathroom break.

Had my first viewing just now on HBO. Honestly pretty underwhelming overall. It wasn't bad but it was nothing to write home about.
