Re: Matt Reeves Batman film

Action should not be viewed in slow motion...unless that's the point of the scene, like the bullet time.

Otherwise, you can see the lack of physical contact and it ruins the illusion :horror

Even in that first Neo vs Smith gif, you can see a lack of contact.

Well, like everything else, in capable hands, with a good director who knows how to use it, shaky cam can be excellent and really make you feel like you're in the middle of the action. Unfortunately, less talented people only use the technique, without understanding how to make it actually work.

Re: Matt Reeves Batman film

My favorite action scenes are from the first matrix

Coherent, easy to watch fight scenes

Look at how beautiful they flow..... pleasing and gentle on my eyes.

Look at how clean these scenes are

Look at how clear each punch is. Each kick. You can actually admire appreciate the choreography...

This makes the russo brothers fight scenes seem almost insulting as an action fan.

Preach brother! Preach!

I wasnt talking about bullet time.

I much rather watch not making contact here and there than throw up after watching the opening scene of civil war

Matt Reeves Batman film

No way is he gonna direct this. Wasn't he just saying not too long ago how stupid these superhero movies are? No way will he direct the sequel to one of the worst superhero movies of all time.

Beat me to it. Utterly heart-stopping 15 minutes.
