Thanks for posting the sales. Already went out, stood out in the cold, shopped, and came back. I'm still not sure It was worth it. People are crazy out there! I was almost plowed down in target. :google I think I need to rest and count my bruises now.

Black Friday...BAH!

My Christmas shopping is all done. No getting up early at zero dark thirty, standing in line in the cold or duking it out with an 80 year old granny for that last Hannah Montanna Banna or Jonas Bros. whatchamacallit for me!

In your face Santa!! :maul

Black Friday was a huge disappointment this year.

Especially considering everything's already pretty cheap these days....(except for Sideshow Collectibles).

Got everything I wanted off Amazon. They pretty much matched Best Buy's prices.

just saw $1.64 at my local gas station this morning (florida panhandle)........:banana

The gas is going for $1.62 here, except for Kroger who gives you 20 cents off a gallon for every $50 you spend. Anyway, what did they do yesterday? Raise their gas to $1.75 to take advantage of the holiday/holiday shopping.

I didn't go shopping today. I did laundry. I bought one gift so far and that was for my niece. I have two little nephews to buy for and all the rest get gift cards. My Mom, I'm gonna buy her a new LCD tv for her workroom.

I went out on Thanksgiving and bought a few papers to get the inserts to look through. There was nothing I wanted, or was worth camping out for. Years ago when I used to do the whole Black Friday thing, you could get alot of freebies and really good deals. I remember when Best Buy used to have $100 computers and other things worth hundreds for $25. That's what I call doorbusters! I used to come home with my trunk full and 25% of that was free stuff. I miss those days. :(

I hear ya! I remember those days as well.

I've been doing my Xmas shopping early for the last four years because I loathe all the crowds during this time of year. Bunch'a savages! :maul

I will never do Black Friday shopping again- EVER! I did it last year for the first time and hated it. Furthermore, I won't be visiting retail stores till Mid-January or February. Yes, I do hate crowds that much. :lol

I went to Wal-Mart this morning at 5 and it was nuts. Nothing like blowing down the doors but they were letting people in a small group at a time, people fighting for carts, families taking 5 or 6 of the TVs that were on special, children's pajama displays ripped apart with the cardboard on the ground, people stealing from each other's carts with no remorse....then again its been like that every year at Wal-Mart. Things were more civil at Target but not by much and Best Buy was a mad house with people throwing multiples in baskets.

I went on Black Friday last year for the sole purpose of getting a artificial tree to replace a 20 year old one. I ended up getting that tree but on the way out I saw a family with 4 children all carrying the same pot/pan set as the parents walked behind them empty handed.:joy
