They don't really care about a rerelease in 3D that much outside the US, i guess.

Last year we got that film about the sinking ship in 3D here...but awesome dinosaurs? Nooooo, who'd ever want to see that?

Anyone know if the Jurassic Park 3D Blu-ray is region free?

Just found out that they're limiting the release to only 3 cinemas here (nowhere near me), and no release for the BD

Make sure you check for Wednesday or Thursday. Most theaters are only carrying it for ONE day only. Wednesday or Thursday at 10pm. That's what they're doing around here.

Well cinemas over here are showing it like normal, just only in capital cities.

That surprises me. One of the theaters near me is only showing on Wednesday and the other theater has one showing on Thursday and 2 a day for the next week. And the towns aren't that big.

Update on my Jurassic Park 3D situation for anyone interested, i.e. no one...they've decided to widen the release here due to all the people complaining about not being able to see it. Woo! People power!
