…will come out 2 days after the B&N sale ends :lol

The only one i might pass on is Frances Ha. I'll save it for a sale.

Of course! :lol

With the prices of Criterions, that Zatoichi set will be priced at $999.99 :lol

Surprisingly the list price is only $225 (I thought it'd be a lot more too). So getting that during a B&N sale is real bargain.

Btw, what's the deal with Criterion going dual format? Are people still watching DVDs? If you're buying Criterions you should being watching them on blu-ray.

There's still people who buy the DVD's and they used to release every movie on both formats but it looks like they're doing the dual thing now like Masters Of Cinema and BFI have been doing for a while now.

I still don't know why anyone would want to buy a DVD over a blu-ray. It's not like blu-ray players are super expensive anymore.

Most households still dont have HDTV's, so it's not so much about the cost of a Blu-ray player as it is about buying a new HDTV.

Edit - Actually only 31% of hoseholds still dont have HDTV, surprisingly.

Well these people need to get with the program. :lol

I only use DVDs in my bedroom since there's a DVD player built into my set. If DVDs aren't in a combo pack, I don't get them though.

There are still some obscure movies that aren't available of bluray. I even have a few that aren't available on DVD! :lol

Epic is out on Tuesday. Best Buy has a Digibook but I'm not sure if you can get one with a 3D disc in it.

Best Buy's MIGHT have a lenticular slip.

Edit: I tried to order the 3D version from Target but it's not letting me. It disappears from my cart. :(

Is anyone going to Target tomorrow? I still can't preorder Epic 3D digibook online and if someone could pick it up for me, I'd be grateful. :)
