How bizarre that they pretty much perfectly matched the look of Camie played by a woman over 40 years ago but are so off on a character who was hidden under a mask and could be played by anybody with a similar build.

This isn't some clever character arc as the PT/CW crowd would have you believe. This is Lucasfilm intentionally neutering Boba Fett and trying to make a buck in the process.

I don't need anything clever, just Fett looking cool and acting cool. If we get more scenes like the mayor confrontation and Hutts/Wookiee confrontation and a minimum of lame crap then I'll be happy. Well I guess I'll be happy either way since I'll always have the original unaltered OT no matter what they do going forward.

I hope that Wookiee beats him senseless.

Doesn't Boba have a flame thrower?
The Wookiee is 99% hair.
Hair + Fire = Not good 🔥
That thing is going up in flames like a mothball. 🤔

What are the odds that using the flamethrower would even occur to new nincompoop Fett? Even if he thought to use it he might choose to fight with respect.

That Wookie was bad *** looking

Hutts were nice to see. Best scene in whole series.

Episode as a whole was meh…. Not a fan of Dances with Raiders storyline.

But it’s fine. Not my Boba but that was expected

I don't mind loose references to real world cultures or even events as long as it still feels like Star Wars at the end of the day. Yes ewoks fighting Stormtroopers was a reference to Viet Nam but it still felt like Star Wars. The blockade on Naboo shared elements with the overthrow of Queen Liliʻuokalani of Hawaii but Lucas didn't have any of the planet's residents throwing lūʻaus or Hula dancing. It still felt like a Star Wars planet first and foremost. To me combining the Maori dancing *and* the exaggerated facial expressions crossed too closely into real world territory.
I hate the Mayors right hand man… Takes me out of the SW universe every time. I hate his voice.

Can't wait to see how many times Anakin removes his helmet. It's the cool thing to do. :monkey1

Vader removes his helmet when he's alone. It'll be cool to see him without his helmet while he's alone thinking about Padme or something. The poor guy, constantly in physical and emotional pain.

I want a Vader show, not Obi Wan. ****, more sand, Tuskens, and cantinas. I want Vader, hunting Jedi and fighting assassins hired by Palpatine to kill him because Palpatine wants to replace him. That's the show we need, not Boba Fett's fat *** trying to run a business, teaching sand people how to ride bikes, or a show about a forgettable nobody loser like Cassian Andor, or any other lame *** SW characters. Sorry, I needed to get that out of my system. Let's dance. :bunnydanc

As part of that PT/TCW crowd, erghh, well maybe more part of it than some here would be (based on some interactions I get the sense some of those who don’t like this show aren’t exactly big PT/TCW fans), I really don’t understand how that subset of fans are making this out to be some grand deep character analysis on this deep spiritual journey. They come across (not necessarily here but elsewhere on social media) as “we are better than you because we understand the deep sophistication of this show.” All I can do is laugh at them. Hell, some people here laugh at us who hate the show for our qualms against it yet never respond with anything but head theories. It would be nice to see any on screen justifications for this turn. We do for Din. We do for Han. And I know some of you disagreed, but at the very least for Anakin we had a given reason for his turn (to save Padme), more than BoBF can ever say.

The mayor confrontation scene didn’t work for me because Fett would have just walked through the door without saying a word. He waited in line, menacingly. Was weak for me. Seeing the Hutts and Wookie were cool, but their appearance out in the open like that, with one body guard, made no sense. I guess they know Fett is a coward now. OT Fett would have just killed them then burned the wookie.

Same. It feels like someone the Guardians of the Galaxy would run into. A character right out of Marvel.

That show would actually be good so it will never happen.

Like, how freaking stupid is Disney with what they are writing right now? Andor? The Acoylte? Lando? I don’t care about them whatsoever.

SLJ has been wanting to come back as Mace Windu. He isn’t getting younger. You know damn well a solo Mace movie or series would be better than the other 3, just to see SLJ.

You have Darth Vader, with a storyline exactly like you said, that would be better than the other 3. Imagine an entire series of the Rogue One hallway scene. That’s the show.

Or a rise of Palpatine show with Darth Plagueis. Could show Palps and Mauls origins. Recast for a young Palpatine.

Or anything else Jedi/Sith related.

I want...no I don't want Disney to do this cause they would ruin it...but if I was running things, a Dark Lords of the Sith show would be happening. GoT levels of betrayal. Lots of lightsaber action and get to delve into the Sith of things. Got a good taste of it with the KOTOR games. The basic SW clown fan has no idea the depth of SW there was with the EU. All of it swept away in Klown Kennedy's Beta Wars.

Only everyone talked about Vader in Rogue One. To not do a Vader movie right now or even years ago is essentially incompetence.

I'm surprised that they haven't given the OK for a Vader series. Maybe we might see something hinted at after the Kenobi series - like how they revealed the Book of Boba. :dunno
