So us personal-canon people are going to have to sub-compartmentalize this episode out of this show and into The Mandalorian? Great, I can't wait for that headache :lol
Won’t be that hard, Mandalorian had BOBF teaser clip and BOBF has an entire episode as a preview of Mando S3. It’s like poetry it rhymes.

Looking good for Mando S3 then?! :panic:
Haha not like that! But seriously there’s no way Favreau wrote all the BOBF episodes, must have been some ghostwriters and Favreau waited for Din to show up to write material.

Or maybe Din will ask Mando what his deal is and ask him are you a Mandalorian or not? Weapons are your religion, start using them!

Mando cut himself with the sabre - that's something that I've always thought about since I first saw lightsabres. They're potentially lethal to the wielder!
And it was awesome and goes with the lore from Rebels about needing to be one with the sword. Something I always appreciate about the character - Badass but human. IMO this episode had everything I could want from small stuff like Mando being exasperated to being reluctant about the ship to Mechanic Lady and cute robots to a spectacular new environment to the harsh code of the Mandalorians and BADASSERY. Did a great job setting up the tension of what it means to be Mandalorian. This is the Way.

Are we sure the same people are making the Boba show? Was expecting more of the cesspit and get something amazing. Is this some weird thing where Favreau is trollling fans?

I’m blaming incompetent directors for the previous episodes, or this episode was literally written by someone else.
Bryce Dallas Howard is such a talented director. From the weakest village episode in Mando SS1, to the fantastic debut of Bo Katan and her Nite Owls, to this masterpiece today. That hack RR could go *** himself.
I’m starting to blame the previous directors for those bad episodes, perhaps the writing was better but was hacked up by idiots playing with Star Wars toys.

The mental gymnastics required are going to be a complete disaster going forward I'm afraid. You can't even write a terrible show off because there are no rules :gah:

I do hate the continuity problems this "structure" of interwoven Disney plus shows create. We now literally have an episode of The Mandalorian embedded in a different show that would be required to be watched after The Mandalorian season two and before starting season three.
Did it last year when a show was mostly Ahsoka which ticked me off. This was worse lol barely a mention of bouncing Boba. Hopefully next week wouldn't have a gleaming Mando standing next to Boba in his bathrobe - no wonder they sent Mando off on his errand lol.
