ajp is 100% right an entire Navy Seals/Delta Force team can be taken out in a bus accident with a garbage truck BUT a compelling cinematic moment that will not make lol

Did they have to do it to Fett though? The mysteriously cool badass looking Mandalorian bounty hunter with the rocket firing jetpack? That's the guy George decided to kill in a manner Rian Johnson would be envious of...

Always wondered that myself. I know George likes the occasional comedy relief, but Fett? The guy who got the preview toy before ESB? The guy who stood toe to toe with Vader in the halls of Cloud City? The gentleman that ruined the buffet at the Harrow Club this morning? Wait...wrong movie :) Anyway, definitely an odd choice.

But that goes back to the point ajp was making.

That is exactly the person you do that to.

The way George and everyone originally involved with Boba talk about him always comes across funny to me because you'd think he would've been the next villain after Vader or something, but then you remember his "death".

It's like the only thing missing from that Behind the Helmet special was the Curb Your Enthusiasm music at the end, as they showed Fett flail and fall into the Sarlacc:lol

All this talk of Fett being tipsy, or wanting to take Luke alive...I can't help but wonder if BOBF will not only show him escape from the Sarlacc but also rewind even a little further to show him in Jabba's Palace/the Barge *before* the Sarlacc pit. Maybe even show him speaking to a little hologram of Vader after he reports that Skywalker just showed up and almost got fed to the Rancor. *Then* they could show Vader telling him to bring him Luke alive at all costs and canonize ajp's theory once and for all.

It's actually shocking how little screen time Pedro Pascal's face got over two seasons of Mandalorian. Just insane when you think about it.

Every other actor is doing everything they can to be out of the mask or helmet or make up for as much possible screen time.

I was so pissed back in 1990....Casey Jones wore his hockey mask for exactly 30 seconds of screen time.

Then good old Sly Stallone insisted on not wearing Judge Dredd's helmet for the entire run time of the movie, a character who has NEVER been seen without his helmet in the comics dating back to the 70s.

Every single Marvel character manages to lose their masks within a few seconds of a fight if they've ever bothered to wear it at all.

So all I'm saying is....expect to see a LOT of that bald Uncle Fester dome on the show, and very little of the "T for a face."

Dredd remake was a masterpiece

Sadly I expect this to be true. I bet he'll put the helmet on *occasionally* for battle (and even then not always as the trailer already shows him bludgeoning guys in the street without it) and almost never outside of combat. :(

He was tricked by Disney. No wonder he almost left the show.

I didn't mind it because Elias Koteas was so cool and likable, but I wish he'd wear the mask in the third act.

He wanted to show his blue eye contact lenses for some reason. Ironically, Sly is of those actors that would have been just as recognizable with the Dredd helmet on because of his unmistakable voice and crooked mouth.

I'm wondering if Master Chief will be showing his face in the Halo series? A protagonist without a face is a tough sell.

Look at Mando, he was kind of overshadowed by the other characters because he was a faceless character.

Dredd remake bombed hard

Why does the guy with the pole fall?

I mean, that gif clearly demonstrates the care that was taken with ROTJ... and the primary reason I do not like that movie. So many shots and moments are just poorly staged.
I think he is presenting to the guy who is behind him You see an arm on his back. :rotfl
