Interesting…. Surprised by the hate.

I liked it fine. I mean it’s not the OT Fett… But I did not expect that… it’s the kindler, gentler Fett that we saw in The Mandalorian. So I guess I was not let down like some.

I liked that creature at the end… Pure Rey Harryhausen.

I thought it moved quickly and was good for what it was.

I’m tired of Disney + aliens that talk a little too modern.

It really is a shame they erased the EU and started completely from scratch. They should have incorporated some of the stories in, like Thrawn, Mara Jade, Jacen/Jaina Solo, Ben Skywalker, Luke a bad *** Grand Master, Han/Leia together, New Jedi Order. Then weave that stuff into the few things they have done good, like Ahsoka, Grogu, Din, etc…

I’d probably sacrifice Mando and BoBF (and obviously the ST) to get a happy Skywalker/Solo family on the big screen. Hell even just a scene of them all together.

I could write a thesis on what needed to be done and at the time, too. Makes sense with how Feige does it, use the material that worked in the comics/other media and ignore the material that people did not like. Plenty of EU ideas and built in fans to use in your favor. To toss that aside shows you really don't care about fans and want to build your woke agenda instead of building a successful universe.

I mean we have:
Ep 7/8/9 - Start with young Ben Skywalker/Jacen/Jaina/Anakin, Imperial remnant with Thrawn in charge. Legacy characters are old so have to rely on the Solo kids and Ben Skywalker. Cover things like cloning the Emperor, Thrawn attempting/retaking Coruscant/new Jedi Academy
Kyle Katarn movie franchise
Recast Luke Skywalker (Sebastian Stan) post-ROTJ adventure trilogy
Boba Fett movie franchise
Clone Wars live action movie
Rogue One was a fine idea but recast a Wedge Antilles/Biggs Darklighter. I remember seeing a vid on KK rolling her eyes at people wanting/waiting to meet with her for ideas with SW movies. Like she knew it all and no one knows better. Effin beeotch. Kill all the characters and leave Rogue One at one LOLOLOLOL
Jedi Academy movie franchise
KOTOR movies

Streaming was inevitable so:
Dark Lords of the Sith
Young Jedi Knights
Bounty Hunters Guild

In no way should Star Wars be ONLY on a streaming service. What a joke. Feige is slapping all types of producers on the face with his large wanger and no one is learning from it.

And to have a BF show where he barely wears the helmet, yet in Mando the guy (a better actor with more presence no less) barely took it off?

Boba Fatt, Boba Fester, etc... this is really not the way this was supposed to go.

I didn't have a problem with Uncle Fett-ster in the present timeline because he is an older man, but he looks the same in the ROTJ era flashbacks, when he was young, in his prime, looking cool, and getting all the green alien *******.

You can tell he's not the same guy from ROTJ. This new guy got no game. OG Fett would be banging Fennec already. She'd look at him like

No lying here. I have not read a Star Wars comic book since the original Marvel SW in the late 70s.(only the first 4 issues for the movie adaptation) Absolutely no interest inclination to do so. (and yet I consider myself a person who enjoys reading!) I only watch the movies so I only have that stunted tunnel view of SW. I am ok with that. Boba was only featured for what... 5 minutes total in the OT and PT? This show fills in more gaps.

Despite my lack of knowledge for the EU I collect the ot kenner and HT SW figures. The Kenner figs take me back to that feeling of being that 7 year old kid, while the HT figures make me marvel and appreciate how toys have improved over the years...but still elicit that same feeling. Despite some issues I have with the first episode of BOBF...I am glad that a cool looking but side bar character is getting some due.

Well then they should have released all the episodes at once then

It could all still be good, but it still won't make episode one good. It feels like someone wrote the script in 20 minutes. Nothing felt intelligent about it.
