"I'm not like those lame Hutts. I walk around on my own two feet unarmored in broad daylight."

*Gets his *** beat five minutes later, helmet loot stolen by jawas and dragged off to a medical chamber by two pudgy guards in front of half the town*

Great first day on the job. Leading with respect indeed. :cuckoo:
Many great points. (Though I have no issues with the Jawas)

But I have watched the PT and ST.

My expectations were in check :)

Fett should have worked over the goons so shockingly that the whole town was left in awe of him. Now after his embarrassing beatdown goes viral every Galaxy's Edge reject is gonna want a piece of him.

"Hey everyone it's the fat guy who doesn't know how to use his equipment and carries a small fortune in his unused helmet! Get him!"

In episode two the Jawas are going to double park their Sandcrawler in the Slave 1 spot, march inside the palace and demand their weekly tribute...or else.

Oh holy crap yes this show has indeed generated some of the most hilariously entertaining dividends of anything in a long time. Long time indeed. :lol

A *weekly* tribute to jawas. "Or else." :rotfl

Episode 3 has the goons who ransacked the Lars Homestead spray painting "Firespray" on the side of the Slave 1. Fett is so beta he doesn't dare clean it off.

Omg I'm dying. Fett like Mike Damone on Fast Times...

The whole incident where Pablo Hidalgo mocked fans for liking Luke and championing the terrific ending of S2 Mando. I believe there were other Lucasfilm employees that made snide comments as well. They seemed irritated that Luke was kept secret from them.
It's like a thousand butthurts could be heard all at once. Some justice served there.

How many of you have crawled out of a Sarlacc pit ?

When you do, get back to me and tell me if you felt like fighting clocked midgets right after.
What about all of his post-Mando scenes? The ones set after he was feeling fit enough to kill the crime boss, take over the throne, and survive inevitable retaliation and/or the huge target on his head.

This is supposed to be the bounty hunter who had the reputation for being the most proficient in the galaxy just six years earlier! This is supposed to follow the OT as a continuation of *that* Fett. No matter how much you compartmentalize this version as an already disappointing clone, he still has to line up with having earned a reputation to be called upon by Vader. He still has to match the wits he showed in his brief ESB appearance.

It doesn't just make me wonder how this guy built such a reputation that even Vader sought him out (and knew his methods), it makes me wonder how he even survived more than a couple of missions. Were Bossk, Dengar, and rest of the bounty hunters just even more lame? The guy who was able to anticipate Han's space junk strategy now can't tell his head from his ***. I love SW justifications, but there's no justifying this with a straight face.

But I disagree with people blaming Favreau for this. And I disagree with people trying to pin it on KK or the story group. This is Filoni's Fett. I'm confident that Favreau is deferring to Filoni. This Fett lines up in a lot of ways with the young Fett from TCW, and especially the unfinished render of the intended showdown scene with Cad Bane.
