"I never would have shown his face. I would never have had an actor underneath where he takes the helmet off and you see who it is," Johnston recently explained to The New York Times. "I think that eliminates a lot of the mystery. Before that helmet comes off, he can be anybody."

And that's what struck me the hardest watching BOBF again, It felt lazy, inconsequential and seemed driven by the same formula agenda that is afflicted most of SW and Marvel of late.

Sadly both have entered the mass-production phase, quantity over quality.

At least SW is getting a much-needed breather on the big screen.

When is the next movie coming out?
I heard Rian Johnson’s trilogy is gonna be any day now!

I think they shelved all the movies. Feige, Jenkins, Waititi, Dillard and obviously RJs.

I’ve said this before, but I really think (hope!) we will be getting a movie (trilogy?) that will pick up after Mando S3 and Ahsoka to follow that story. Grogu, Din, Luke, Ahsoka, Thrawn could make it a blockbuster. The timelines add up as nothing is planned beyond beyond 2023. Movies have no sign of movement. The announced TV shows will be finished up by 2023. That’s where it points to me.

Feige's SW movie is being written right now. It is the guy who wrote Loki and DS: MoM, Michael Waldron.

I didn’t know that, thanks. I looked him up and he worked on Rick and Morty as well. Personally didn’t care for Loki that much. Wait and see for DS2, but leaks seem promising. It is odd how so many relatively inexperienced writers are getting hired on for the Disney brand. Feige has earned my trust though so I’m cautiously optimistic about this.

Well Feige is hiring for streaming in a certain way veteran writers won't work on. Have to Google it, but there was something about pay and structure to where some said they wouldn't do it if offered.

But Feige has always hired up and coming talent maybe because he has a structure in place with a connecting universe. Some have excelled, some haven't. Something about streaming where only Mando, Stranger Things and Daredevil have stood out to me.

I found this article, interesting read. Veterans are being paid as much as rookies on these shows while dealing with the chaotic scheduling, thus opening the door for younger writers to take these positions. Along with other issues.

Streaming TV’s Boom Is a Mixed Blessing for Some Hollywood Writers (Published 2020)

I have enjoyed a lot of the streaming shows over the last few years. Mando, Daredevil, and Stranger Things as well, plus Ozark, Squid Game, Punisher, The Boys, Invincible, Man in the High Castle, Dark, Umbrella Academy. The list expands if we start counting shows on HBO/Starz and such. For me it is the original streaming movies that don’t stand out. I can’t remember the name of one original streaming service movie, let alone one I enjoyed. I find myself enjoying streaming shows over traditional cable and big three shows but still enjoying cinema films over streaming films.

Ozark is brilliant. Hopefully the final season is as good as the previous ones.

When he rolled over on the sand and his huge gut became visible I couldn’t stop gawking then laughing lol
Boba Fett ate his way of the Sarlacc too.
You aren't kidding - with that belly, looks like he found a new definition of suffering, as he slowly digested over a thousand calories a minute.

The Weight Watchers before and after does look pretty damning....
