Wow 🙄. Love how SA on males is “hilarious”

I personally think this is a weaker season, so I'm not defending it wholly, but I'm sorry... that was the episode you think they jumped the shark? Not the superhero orgy with the shot of someone getting hit with gallons of semen, not the episode where the guy gets off with having a shrunken guy in his ***** before exploding in half, not the entire episode about Noir's brain melting down about cartoon animals, not the baby with lasers coming out of its eyes, not the super cannibal sheep from last episode... You drew the line at a *** dungeon during a secret billionaire meeting? That jumped the shark?

The most realistic, believable IRL scene of the whole series. 1/10 Literally unwatchable!

Yeah, I don't get the all the online backlash from fans. :slap

She looks the same to me. :dunno

All the trolls and haters. She's still all natural, and obviously it's just weight loss.. :monkey3

:lol

But seriously, she just blew up her career. And not in the good way. Nothing like no longer standing out in a crowd of all the young plastic Kardashian wanna be's.....

Sad. I feel bad for her. So many young people today making so many bad choices.
Probably a natural human tendency to feel frustrated - at least some - by someone who looks like they have positive stuff - money, talent, looks, whatever and have that someone burn it, for reasons

10 years from now, there's gonna be some real different looking folks in LA, tho out there maybe nobody will notice. Big doe eyes, lips collapsed from filler removal, high bony cheekbones 'coz apparently when the cheek fat is removed you can't put it back.

Yeah, they definitely missed an opportunity.

We, as the audience, already know he's experiencing hallucinations and Butcher already knows this as well, so it wasn't really a revelation to anyone.

Which is kinda naff writing. It is set up as an opportunity to surprise the audience but they either failed to make it a surprise or missed the opportunity to try.
its not tho. They just want to show how Butcher is slowly losing his mind. To show how far gone he is. Its also showing the split personality caused by his V tumor

Not really. Hardly the first piece of media to have a “mystery” where the audience are in the know but the characters are not.

I definitely felt like it was meant to be a revelation. And on social media I believe they were teasing it or talking about it after the fact as a mindblow or something. That said I wouldn't have seen it coming, personally, except that someone mentioned the theory in a podcast I think. I wonder how many other people 'saw it coming' because of it being an internet theory - but hey not for me to say I guess, I'm the stupid one lol. Honestly it might have occurred to me if I hadn't been distracted by how many other writing problems the show has. Only being partly facetious; it's a lot harder to get invested in what's going on when it ALL feels a bit like 'huh?' lately

I will always like this show and I prefer the moments on the show making fun of superheroes and the stuff in Vought. I really love those Vought scenes, all the hero movie stuff they do. I love their meetings in the board room, the advertisement stuff is funny.

I did not care too much for the stuff with the good guys, with The Boys , it's kind of boring now. feels aimless. in the past seasons they had more focus, felt more scary for them. there was more suspense.
now it's kind of boring.

why is it so bad? everyone says that it is really bad
It's not great but it's not terrible. If you're familiar with the video game series Postal, it's kind of in that vein of feel. It's crude and gratuitous and feels like it was written by an edgy teen. It doesn't build on anything or have a deeper meaning, it's all surface level and on the nose gore, ***, and racism.

I think the writer hates superheroes and created some "cool" original characters and wanted to write a story where they go around killing them, then tried to hide it under the guise of it being totally a satire of the genre, or actually it's an allegory for how toxic celebrity culture is. And some of that is present, but in reality it all comes across as cheap and senseless.

Basically it's shock for shock sake, makes you feel kind of dirty, tries to say it's satire and then just kinda gives up on a deeper message for more shock.
