Got mine in the other day but haven't had much of a chance to mess with him yet but I was able to throw him on my photo table for a quick shot to see what he looks like nicely lit up. I think hes great and have the same exact thoughts pretty much everybody else does here. Any recommendations for a painter to commission for the burnt side of the face would be lovely. I've never painted anything before and i'll end up microsoft painting the **** out of him im afraid, lol.

I'm concerned about leaving his arm bent with the coin in hand though. Any thoughts on that cracking the damaged material on the suit? I had made the mistake a few months back ordering a sealed Eric Draven against all posts warning against it in that thread. The moment I touched his clothes it literally stuck to my hand like mush and decayed off of him in shreds.

I had the same concern about leaving the burnt sleeve bent, so I left that arm by his side holding the coin

From what I can tell is that it?s more accurate to the film than this new one. It?s a minor detail to nit pick, but the gun is as important since it?s part of his character and it?s the gun Joker gives him.

The new gun kinda looks like he took it from Dirty Harry.

Nerve Toys' Two-Face revolver is closer, but still not accurate. I think it's a recast of the original Hot Toys version.

Though completely wrong, the Hot Toys 2.0 does have that lovely nickel plated finish.

You are right, version 1 gun, however not completely accurate is more accurate then the v2 gun. V1 is not that shiny and it should be. V2 is not that accurate but it is shiny.

The revolver accuracy isn't really an issue for me, as I look on these characters as existing beyond the Dark Knight trilogy. Because I can't accept that Bruce's entire career as Batman lasted less than three years.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight: Years one and two.

Eight years in retirement.

The Dark Knight Rises: Year Three.


There's some great things in the films, especially the first two, but the structure is pretty odd with regards to Bruce's actual time in the cowl.

Gotta be honest, after having this figure on my shelf for a month I decided to sell him.
He just doesnt pop out for me, I never bothered getting him the 1st release & figured Id need this.
But it just didnt sit in with my collection.
Bit of a meh figure. Doesn?t have much presence.
Hoping they revisit the whole dark knight range tho

IMO as the take on Nolan's Batman is a pretty realistic take, I agree that no human being body can resist long time as a vigilante who fights bad guys with his hands only. The guy was in terrible pain every day, and his body was beyond his limit in TDKR.

Good points, though for me, I would've liked for Nolan to have leaned into 'fantasy' just a bit, but I certainly respect his approach.

Nolan Batman isn’t a realistic take at all.

And he fights crime for less than a year. He literally JUST becomes Batman in Begins and hangs it up at the end of TDK, only to do nothing until TDKR where he is Batman for 3 days. Wow, a whopping 8 months. Big whoop. That is horrible. Football and hockey players endure more physical damage and concussions with DECADE long careers.

The Batsuit for sure it helps, otherwise Bruce should have died that Time that Crane tried to burn him in the Narrows, or when he fell from his penthouse. The human body is pretty fragile in real life, in MMA for instance MMA fighters won't fight more than 4 or 5 times a year, because they just can't do it, their body can't take it and I would say that a real life Bruce Wayne should have a similar training and body of a top UFC fighter, which is probably as far as a trained human being can aim. A top UFC fighter for sure can beat the 99,9% of men and why not several men at once, but he can't do it every night that would be pure fantasy
