So even with a 2nd attempt, hot toys still can't get the tumbler out without trouble. Unbelievable

Speaking of which, i'm afraid to take mine out of the box.

Wife told me to man up.

I'm pinching myself, this thing can't really be right in front of me.

I forgot how big this beat is, I can only imagine the 89 Batmobile!

Here's hoping the '89 Batmobile doesn't have any problems. It doesn't really have too many breakable pieces, it's a pretty solid design. No pistons or piping to worry about.

Here's hoping the '89 Batmobile doesn't have any problems. It doesn't really have too many breakable pieces, it's a pretty solid design. No pistons or piping to worry about.

Yeah, 89 should be a lot less stressfull across the board.

Really thinking about canceling this now, especially with a second batch coming in dec from sideshow. Seems like everyone is having some sort of issue with this. Doesn't help that my computer just crashed this morning for no apparent reason.

I picked mine up from a local plastics company here in Ottawa. Here is their website.

It is really good quality and is very sturdy. It was $175 + tax. Not sure if they ship but you can always email and ask. I love it and will totally be getting them to make me one for my 89 Batmobile next year.

The rear flaps have those black pipes conected to the engine... Yours are loose. Look at the oficial pic

I would appreciate the dimensions please if you get the chance

It does look like 3/16 thickness acrylic and preassembled/glued so material is cheaper but shipping will be $$ as they need to box it real well for it to arrive in one piece I was considering using thinner material for locals as well to reduce cost but I would not dare to ship that version

I got my shipping notice from CSC today. Looks like I'll be receiving mine this coming Friday. With the QC issues cropping up, I'm almost afraid to open the box when it arrives.

I was like, how bad can 8 spoilers be, right?

I was sweating bullets just removing all the plastic, especially the ones inside, forget even the spoilers!

You really have to go slow with the spoilers or easily risk breakage!

Steady hands folks.

Anyways, it's all put together, I didn't find one single problem on it, not one!

congrats jye!!! from the second this was announced i was happy for you cause of your old sig...i had to cancel my PO, my friends wedding is Saturday and a pic of my new tumbler while might be a good gift, might not fit his description of a good gift . no way im passing on the 89 mobile though

again congrats, glad to hear no QC problems...now how about some pics!
