Random question, would this be a pain in the ass to take apart and ship if needed? I have to think about things like that now, since I sell old things to get new ones so often. I'm for sure getting the 89 bat mobile cause it's basically one piece.

Taking this massive fragile 1/4 thumbler apart would be like performing a mini surgery for you and IMO I don't know too many collectors who would want this collectible in pieces to assemble. But then again there are some collectors who would buy some parts. If your already planning to buy it to resell it just take into account the risk/rewards of reselling it, but I would not suggest to take it apart

Question, is there any physical difference between the old and the new tumbler released by Hot Toys or could you theoretically just swap them out without noticing if you're getting the old or the new one?

As far as I know, except for the packaging, they're identical.

SSC shows this and the Batpod in stock. Surprised these aren't permanently sold out already. Hopefully the Batpod is still around come tax time. I would love a complete Nolan Batman collection!

I caught this last night and ordered one, I have no place for this, I have no place for the Bat pod and I have no place for the 89 Batmobile... Yet I ordered this ..... I have a problem.

It's a problem I am thankful to have. I never thought I would be in a position to be able to afford things like this. Nothing was ever handed to me. I had to work my ass off to get where I am today...Wife, big house, 2 cars and 3 kids. That's a long way from the trailer park I grew up in. Every time I buy one of these, I sit and smile not only because they are so amazingly cool, but that I could afford it!

I received my Tumbler last weekend and have stared at it every night since. It's just freaking awesome with the DX standing beside it. (And have I mentioned massive? Still haven't gotten over that one.)

Now, I am off to order my BatPod. Yes, I am a junkie and damn proud of it!

I'm thinking he means just the parts that don't come attached out of the box.

It would take a little patience and a steady hand but I don't see an issue taking those parts off again. It's really not that bad.

Well, at least I know I'm not the only one that did this.

I was looking online to see if anyone had the Tumbler available and they seemed to be sold out everywhere so on a whim I decided to check Sideshow and much to my surprise they had it in stock. So, without thinking logically or figuring out where I'm going to put this beast I decided to just go ahead and order it. I can't wait until Tuesday when the Fed Ex guy shows up with it.

Ok, I finally got a backdrop printed out. I should have done this sooner. The pics I took don't do the display justice because the pics were taken with my phone. Hopefully I can get a camera for better pictures. DX12 is in there at the moment until I get a Begins Batman. Or maybe I'll just leave the Tumbler alone. For the moment this is the display for a while. Thanks SixthScaleEdward for the pic of the backdrop!!!

Well I'm happy? (lol) most of you are in the same boat as me, I just really don't know what I was thinking ... Here is the thought process ....

Me a few months ago I think I will start with the Batpod, I then Preorder..... 89 Batmobile comes up for pre order, Can't resist and order it.... I think I have missed out on the Tumbler... Pod comes to my door wow this is bigger than I thought I have no place for this!, If this is this big I really won't have a place for the 89 batmobile!... Thank god I missed out on the Tumbler!... Tumbler becomes available, I panic and order it,..... Today: What have I done?

I'm going to have to dedicate a room or something to these.

I wanted to do that but I couldn't find a place that could make one as big as his. This is just a 24x36 where his 2-3 times that size lol I'm still looking for a place that makes larger prints.

Nice display where did you get the little light rod thingys?

I got them from Home Depot. $10 a piece. They're battery operated but the nice thing is you can place them wherever you want to get the right lighting
