Talia couldn't even climb this wall of text.
I had read that the theme through out the movie was pain. It was what linked everything together; pain of some kind, either physicalor emotionalBruce at the beginning and later his pack being broken, Gordon, Bane's injuries and the requirement of his maskAlfred, the people losing Batman, Talia's entire life, JGL's discussion about having to put on an act to hid anger/pain

I know you have some Bruce Wayne in you
Reminded me of Rocky III (or Rocky VI) Rocky gets ass handed to him by T. Becomes afraid not just of T but to lose everything only to rise above his fear to overcome it all. I didn't find the story telling original, inspirational etc and the ending for me was disappointing.
My conclusion after seeing this a 2nd time
It's still ass bad.
Too many people I've talked (IRL) believe that Alfred was dreaming at the end. I'm starting feel as if the numerous complaints that TDKR is dumbed down for the masses are generally unfounded and hollow.
That makes absolutely no sense though.

Did they think Gordon was dreaming about the signal?
It's like some folks are just purposefully ignorant of certain details. "What? Which scene was that?"
1.Bat autopilot fixed
2.Bat signal fixed (after Wayne's funeral)
3.Why would Alfred dream of Selina, a person who he only saw briefly, and not someone like Talia, who he thought would be a good match for Wayne?
4.Pearl necklace Wayne's lawyers couldn't find is around selina's neck at the end.
Why would alfred dream of the pearl necklace?
Wait so how Bruce get all his fortune back at the ending?
