:hi5: Congrats! IMAX is the way to go and totally blew me away with it's absolutely stunning clarity. I have to go one more time in IMAX! Just trying to find the time  That said, one of the perks of working at a movie theater is I watch the ending to TDKR 3 times a day and get a rush every time I see it!

A friend of mine is taking me to see it in IMAX tomorrow... I've never seen a non documentary in IMAX, so it should be pretty damn sweet. I'm looking forward to it. :D

It should be pretty awesome... I've heard great things about the format. I'm lucky to have an awesome friend... Jermaine heard that I hadn't been to IMAX for a real movie and he set aside a day to make sure he got me there. Very cool of him to do that.

Saw it. I'll give it a 7/10.

Good movie. Didn't feel much of the emotion I figured I would for the final film in the franchise. Just kept waiting for something to happen, but it all felt a little flat. Bruce Wayne being a broken down bum for 3/4 of the movie and then quitting as Batman by the end was annoying.

Its a solid trilogy, though the end was a major let down. I'll rank these films in order of their release, Begins is definitely the best of the bunch for me.

Overall, I fell like Nolan created a good Batman, but his Bruce Wayne was too emo for me.

Bookmarked and noted as the most words I've ever seen King type.:clap

I think this is one of the most well-rounded, well-resolved trilogies of any genre, not just the superhero genre. I actually enjoyed this instalment more than TDK, where I felt like I was spending the whole movie just hanging out for the Joker scenes. Bane was a great character, but for me Catwoman stole the show. I'm not up with the comicbook universe, but her nuanced character was a nice surprise for me. And I liked Levitt's Blake too. The more I reflect on this movie, the more I like it. Kinda opposite to how I felt after watching Prometheus, which I am still hating a little more with every passing day :lol
I also thought Catwoman was one of the real surprises. You kinda knew what you were getting with Bane based on the commercials, but not Catwoman. I thought "Halfway's" Catwoman was done in a way that fit in with the spirit of the character from the comics and Batman: the Animated Series, which could have felt a bit forced. Nolan pulled it off, though. She came off as pretty much what I thought Catwoman should be without feeling like it was a complete rehash or that it was a lazy nod to what the character is supposed to be. One of my favorite scenes was Catwoman and Bats going through the tunnels tag-teaming villains. Closest thing we've seen to a superhero team-up in the Nolan-verse.

I wasn't let down too much by the ending, but I hear what you are saying. I also think, putting all the movies in context now, that Begins is my favorite. And yeah, Batman in the comics broods quite a bit, but he is ultimately a very hard guy and I think Nolan's Batman/Wayne had a bit too much emo going on. I guess that's Nolan thinks a "realistic" Batman is though.

I remember reading an interview a long time ago where Christopher Nolan mentioned he often draws inspiration from the things he fears in his personal life and the thing he feared most was the idea of losing his wife and/or loved ones. It's a pretty consistent theme in his films so his portrayal of Bruce is probably pretty close to the heart for himself.

Interesting. Maybe that's why he was drawn to Batman to begin with, then.

Yeah you can see a common thread throughout his films.
