I dunno. Is it really nitpicking when someone points out that Bane and Talia are in control of the situation but act like dumb ****s when the ball is in their court (or in this case a neutron bomb)?

Or is the audience supposed to just be oblivious and be like, "OH DAMN, OH SNAP STAP DAT BOMB B-MAN U GOT 11 MINUTES LEFT!" ? I thought these Nolan movies were more than "leave your brain at the door" type entertainment? They make you think right?

I get what you're saying CP but I get the feeling you have problems (character motivations, poopy Bane and Talia, dumb plots) as well but you're in it for "da spectacle and splosions" which isn't a bad thing.

I just didn't like that they were willing to die,
if they all die, who was going to kill Batman? Bane pretty much said so, when Gotham is destroyed he is going to kill him, and Bane even left him his own personal caretaker, just so that Bruce would see the destruction,

i guess you could say Bruce would die of old age there, but still,

No but seriously, I bet Batman can't see too well the way that cowl hugs his face. Look at his mouth in TDKR, it's always open. He can't breathe, he can't see. Poor ****er probably can't even hear (which is why he yells). It is pretty realistic that he was only Batman for a year and a half, if that.

Bane thought he had broken Batman with no chance of recovery. He didn't count on him escaping at all. The caretaker was to keep him alive throughout the suffering of Gotham. After Gotham was gone, one could deduce that the caretaker would stop taking care of Bruce and just let him rot.

Also Bane never said that he himself would come back to kill Bruce...just that he would "have his permission".

Man shoots himself in the butt during 'Bourne Legacy'
A 56-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the buttocks inside the Century 14 movie theaters in downtown Sparks on Tuesday night when a gun he had brought into the cinema discharged, police dispatch said.
No one else was hurt in the theater at 1250 Victorian Ave. when the gun discharged while the unidentified Sparks resident was seeing “The Bourne Legacy,” police said.
Calls reporting shots fired in the theater came in about 8:40 p.m., according to preliminary information.
“Witnesses inside the theater at the time the shot was fired stated that a (man) was adjusting himself in his seat when a gun he had on him discharged,” Sparks police Sgt. Pay Dyer said in statement issued late Tuesday.
The man immediately got up, apologized to those around him and left the theater before police arrived, police said.
