In all fairness, the entire marketing for the dark knight rises had some terrible, uninspired posters. Really disappointed in it. That special edition box set does look really cool but I'll probably pick up the trilogy box set on blu ray. I take it it comes with the art and making of..book?

Anyway, guys, dudes, duders. These covers aren't confirmed YET. The dvd cover of Rises is especially questionable, these could be fan made.

Special Edition is neat, but impractical. I feel like I'd be a hypocrite for saying "That's badass; so ____ing bought", when I ignored the TDK bat-pod set because it was too gimmicky. Trilogy boxset on blu or the regular for me depending on what kind of features the boxset has. If it's the same stuff I've got on my shelf, fuhgedaboutit. I already own The Art and Making of book, and the first two on blu, so either deleted scenes, or GTFO.

I actually do have the TDK bat-pod set so I'll probably get the special edition blu for TDKR as well. But totally agreed on passing on the trilogy set unless they can offer some convincing extras.

The Bluray boxset includes "The Art and Making of...." book? Way to punish those for buying merchandise early Also, I prefer the UK cover to the US cover. By far.
