You know it makes sense for TDK to be the "pinnacle" of the series...BB-beginning, TDK-climax, and TDKR being the finale, the end.

You're supposed to give the girl the drink with the Rohypnol, not drink it yourself. :nono

All this talk about a reboot, it would fit with JGL taking over the cowl. And considering all parties involved lied about him being Robin in TDKR, there's the potential that the coming reboot in 2014 is actually Blake's Batman.

See, that I wouldn't like. You want to "reboot" Batman, then Reboot it. Clean slate. What happened in these three movies is for these three movies.

Yes I loved this movie but I just liked the dark knight so much more it was just so good. Also this Blake as batman crap would piss me off, Bruce Wayne is batman

I pretend the dark knight is in a whole different universe and tdkr is just a sequel to batman begins. Idk I just hate the idea of seeing joker left out.

I bet Joker was killed in Blackgate for asking "Why... so.. SERIOUS?" too many times, until the s____ actually got serious for him............ :monkey4

So what do you all prefer , the dark knight or the dark knight rises?

The Dark Knight

While I enjoyed TDKR, it seems like a bigger, clunkier version of The Dark Knight with parts of Begins thrown in for good measure (LOS, training, the pit/well, etc). Instead of Joker holding a knife to Gambol it's Bane holding Dagget's head. Instead of a social experiment with explosives and ferries, there's a nuclear bomb to destroy the citizens morale.

"WHERE ARE THE DETONATORS?"

There's also the non-linear montage at the end with the same soundtrack. Instead of the Dent ceremony/eulogy, Batman on the run, Gordon talking to his son, Alfred burning the letter, Fox deactivating the sonar device, the Batsignal getting destroyed during a televised event and riding off into the night we get,

Bruce Wayne's funeral, a Batman statue, Gordon getting the signal back, Fox learning that the Bat is repaired, all of Bruce Wayne's assets being given from his will, Blake finding the Batcave and Alfred seeing Bruce in Italy.

The Dark Knight all the way.

All 3 have their strengths

Best vehicle action scene goes to Tumbler chase in BB
Best fight goes to Bane vs Batman x 2 in TDKR
Best emotional scene goes to TDK interrogation
Best villain goes to Joker
etc
etc

in other words, all 3 are necessary to own on bluray. :lol

TDK gets two categories, therefore, The Dark Knight must win.

:lecture:lecture:lecture It allows WB to reboot the franchise without ignoring these films. It'd take people a while to get over Blake being Batman, but they'd win over everybody but the diehards. Nolan fans should be game since it's essentially continuing his story.

Besides, after Oldman's performance, I can't and don't want to picture anybody else as Gordon. :(

Bruce Wayne quit. Didn't you get the memo? :dunno

I want to start a poll thread about which movie had the best Bale bat-voice but I'm worried the mods will close it.
