It does. It even makes the over-done Jim Lee New 52 design look good (which is what it's obviously based on). In any case, it looks much more like Batman than Nolanbats. Let's hope they go with something like this for the reboot.

That's because it IS the real life version of the Arkham City costume, I believe it's made by Reeves FX

Yeah, I can see that too. Especially the gauntlets and boots. Maybe that was the inspiration. Regardless, it's awesome and 100% Batman.
