I see that phrase banded around ALOT when anything regarding His performance is mentions, including recasting the joker as someone else for DKR, instead of tweaking the story to be Bane ( it's a rumor, don't know if it's true)

It's like people forget He Was an actor.. and Actors have a Creed..

The Show MUST go on.

I tend to think Ledger cared more about the art form, than he did about his own ego, and i think it showed in the calibur of performences he tended to put out there. as well as the level of work he put into his craft.

Just my opinion.

I think the general thought process is that it's taking advantage and cashing in on his memory. To extent it is. But really it's no different than publishing a biography and what have you. If anything it could inspire people, by seeing how driven and dedicated he was.

Surely the people truly interested in it, respect his work on the character and just want more insight into it's development.

I think it's a question of enough time having passed that it doesn't come off as cashing in. I think we're getting close to that time.

Is Ledger's death and the eternal life of his legendary performance as the Joker the same as the plot for TDKR?

Bruce Wayne knows he will eventually die so he created a symbol of justice that will live on forever.

Ewww, creepy.

I read back several pages, and I have to say, that I agree with everything DiFabio said about Bane. It makes me feel better about not getting the Bane Hot Toys figure :lol.

Yeah I know, I had just left Zach's house, what do you want from me. :lol

I'm still hoping there will be a documentary of the epic forum battles between DiFabio and Void in the ultimate box set.

I have a habit of not agreeing with pretty much all of what DiFabio has to say about this entire movie, so your post makes me want a HT Bane figure. :lol

These films, well tdk and tdkr, created such a buzz in me in the build up to release and the actual night of watching them, it's sad knowing there won't be another film. Going to the imax and waiting around the centre while the TDK music was on in the background, what a buzz. I'm fairly certain no other film series will get me quite as excited, ever. A big part of it is the score. The vibe around the release of these films will never happen again. :( sad.

If they ever show the trilogy in imax again i'm there.

Thanks to BB, TDK definately had the best hype going for it.

And the best part about it was that it delivered, exceeded expectations.

Poor TDKR, never had a chance after Ledger died.

"Poor TDKR, never had a chance after Ledger died."

troll harder, jye4ever.

The hype leading up to it was fun, maybe not TDK fun, but still enjoyable.

The movie itself is knowhere as good as TDK/BB for me.

I really do believe that Ledger's death had a negative impact on were Nolan wanted to go post TDK.

I'm sorry but Bane's flabby ****s didn't do anything for me. :lol

Talia. meh

Blake knowing who Batman is. meh

Apple stealing. meh

The Bat. meh

DiFabio vs Voidcat was better than TDKR though. :lol
