I'd like to see Bale look something like he did in American Psycho, massive and ripped. I know he was huge in Begins, probably bigger even than American Psycho, but he was more ripped in Psycho. Characters in the comics have often referred to Bruce having the body of an olympic athlete, i wanna see a film that shows this.

I dont really remember much of that film, as it didnt really wow me. I did think it was funny how they were putting on the little play of star wars for the kids, and Bale has stated in interviews that he's quite the star wars fan.

I liked Reign of Fire. It wasn't high art, but there were a couple decent action bits and the designers clearly loved Vermithrax Pejorative (best dragon ever).

I don't see them going back to the bulky Bruce Wayne, they seemed to want to go in the direction that Batman's physique should be really cut, sleek and fast, as well as his suit design. The focus seems on his strength now coming from speed more than brute force.

I did like Batman more in Begins though, the fights were like this massive beast just kicking ass.

I did like Batman more in Begins though, the fights were like this massive beast just kicking ass.

With Batman I expect a progression. I expect in the beginning to be fueled by emotion and literally almost killing villains but as he progresses so would his fighting style, using more smoke and mirrors and brute strength. I thought Nolan did a good job juxaposing the styles from BB to TDK and I hope it continues in TDKR (god I hate that title)

As for Juno Temple, remember ladies and gentlemen, its Juno Temple not Dame Judy Dench. She is just an actress looking for a job and it isn't like he is sticking A-lister in his film at this point. She could be a secretary at Wayne Enterprises for all it matters and still be in casting guidelines. If he casts Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie, then I'd be looking for big Bat characters but Juno Temple is about as exciting as him casting Simon Helberg and everyone freaking out.
