Re: The Dark Knight Rises

i remember how excited i was for tdk. i loved the quote "does it depress you, how alone you really are?" but was so disappointed after seeing it in the movie that he told it to gordon and not to batman.

still thinking that the interrogation scene could have been much more epic than it is now.

The interrogation scene is definately the best part of BB and TDK.

That's saying alot in a movie (both actually) that have many great scenes.

I keep hoping TDKR has intense moments like that.

I'm just as excited for TDKR as I was for TDK.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Im just as excited for TDKR

I think the interrogation scene was utterly perfect, everything about it. That and the training montage in BB are easily the top 2 scenes in the series so far and in my top couple scenes of all time

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Can some one PM a link to the bootleg trailer. I can't find it anywhere that still works.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

As far as character scenes go, I agree that the training montage and interrogation are the tips and both sum up the issues Bruce is dealing with in each film.

As far as action sequences, I'd say the fight at Arkhangelsk and subsequent Tumbler chase was te best in BB and the Hong Kong scene in TDK.

I'm pretty sure Bane will bring some intense moments to the film...

also Talia

Yeah I agree - also the bit where he is sitting on the floor and blinks/licks his lips was perfect in the trailer but they cut it short in the film - same with the bazooka bit they cut that short and his reaction after it was perfect and they put a different "hit me" in there too - the one from the traler was the best.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Agree that some edits/choices of takes were a little iffy compared to what we saw in trailers and tv spots

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

We got lucky in some cases too, there was a trailer/ad with a mellow, bland delivery of the "we are tonight's entertainment" line.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

The trailer is up on Apple.
Hmmm.. not so sure. I absolutely hate the football field shot. I think the FX look pretty poor.
Bane looks the business though. It's a pretty hard trailer to judge.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I just love the tone of the trailer, very serious ____ going down.

It's definately more somber than the TDK trailer.

It actually makes the TDK trailer seem comedic at times, which is all good, Joker loves to bring a smile to people.

I thought it was an excellent decision by Nolan/WB to start the trailer with the kid singing and carrying it thru to the dialogue then the chant.

WIN.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

HD Trailer is up. Looks like Bruce has a cane in every scene (talking with Miranda, walking towards the table, etc). You also get a glimpse of him jumping out of the hospital window with a ski mask.

Just noticed how the dark clouds behind the WB logo is strikingly similar to that of the '89 Batman. Cool.
