Re: The Dark Knight Rises

OhOh:

Despite the many rumors, Marion Cotillard tells_The Hollywood Reporter that she does not play Talia al Ghul in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. The interview with the actress reads as follows:

The actress started filming Knight in June 2011, working on and off until the fall in locations including Los Angeles, New York and Pittsburgh. She says there were long gaps when she wasn't needed: "It was a very, very small role."

Otherwise, Cotillard is coy about the picture, whose storyline has fueled pages of Internet speculation. All she'll confirm is that, contrary to some fans' belief, she does not play Talia, the vengeful daughter of Liam Neeson's character, Ra's Al Ghul (who also appeared in Batman Begins), and that she takes the role of Miranda Tate, an ecologically minded businesswoman who "is fascinated by Wayne Enterprises. They go through difficulties, and she wants to help provide the world clean energies. She's a good guy." But does she stay that way? "Yes," she insists.

Exactly, just google TDKR Talia and you can clearly see she is not playing just a "business woman or a small role. She's walking around with what looks to be mercenaries or something not police related.

If she's not Talia, then Two Face and Ra's are both alive and well

I'll decide based on void's decision on the matter. :lol

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Aren't there shots of her in a merc type outfit with the crowds of inmates, maybe even in or around one of the stolen tumblers? Seems odd apparel and company for a Wayne Ent. exec.

Yeah, well, pretty much the proof.

Though I can understand the denial - not everyone has seen those pics, so why spoil it for general audience

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

She's in a bad spot now because she will now be known as a liar.

That's pretty ugly on a national/global level both personally and professionally.

I don't know, maybe she's not lying.

Nah, it's just trying to keep the surprise intact, if for example Batman dies at the end, and Bale were to simply say to a paper, "Yea Bruce Wayne dies." He'd not only ruin the movie for alot of people but likely be sued.

Yeah, you're probably right, screw this lying _____.

Nah, she can always defend it later by saying it was part of her contract not to reveal anything :dunno

Honestly it will be a HUGE shock if what she's saying is true. It will throw the entire film wiiiide open :lol

I'm 100% convinced though
