I've never understood why people can't just not like it and deal with it. It's like as if complaining about it over the internet is some sort of therapy for some.

Captain America, I didn't like it. But I don't make it my goal to tell the world so.

Surprising that people do not know that Gotham is a gloomy and has a terrible sense of hopelessness attached with it which is very different from a Metropolis or New York.

I like BB alot, they are incedibly close for me, BB an 8, TDK an 8.5, my beef isn't so much the lack of Joker, I do like the focus on Bruce, my problem is simply Bruce not being Batman for so long and Joker now being not only non-existant, but legitimately weakened in TDK. As I said for me, some of that interrogation room dialogue and the great line about doing it forever, seem totally mute instead of awesome foreshadowing. Imagine if we saw that Joker card at the end of BB, but then the villain in TDK was Killer Croc instead. It's just a bit of a waste of a brillaint set up.

I traveled a few pages found your post which intrigued me. I do agree that the interrogation scene was all kinds of awesome and one of the final lines about them doing this forever was pure gold, but what are you going to do when the actor passes away? I respect Nolans choice to not include the Joker in the film and I believe he's doing with Bane what he most likely would have done with joker, with a tweak of course. I'm most excited for this and I feel the trailers are really under selling this film and how huge in scale it will actually be.
