I don't like the RISE posters. Why don't Batman and Catwoman have eyes? lol

I can see Batman's being because of lighting... But Catwoman looks like a blind oracle or something.

I wasn't going crazy over how boring/uninspired/meh the last poster was. It was dumb but it's a poster. These are much cooler. All of them.

I liked the BB one better. But I like the TDK one enough to own a HT one. I wonder how many people that "hate" all this stuff own the HT figures. Just wondering... Can't wait to own Bane and Catwoman!

I thought you were joking It appears they are. They are a bit better than the TDK copy we saw the other day but still pretty poor imo. The way they appear to be standing on the vehicles in Batman and Bane's case just looks poop imo.

Also batman looks like he is wearing the Begins cowl!

That's a prety cool poster. Actually, if they did a trilogy showing in IMAX I'd probably go see that.

Gawd that Batman suit sucks. I can't wait for the reboot just to be rid of that fugly thing.

Of course, the way things go watch the next suit be even worse.

TDK suit is awesome! IMO its the best batman suit we've seen in a movie yet.

I do not own any TDK suit version HT figures, but I do own the Keaton and both of the latest releases of the BEGINS suit. The TDK suit is just an over-designed, busy mess to me. Looks more like something out of a Stephen Sommers movie.

I may be interested in a Bane figure, though, pending quality and price (and whether I dig the character in the movie).

I hate him because he should be bigger than I am, but he's not even close.

Why do you hate Batman?

You can't deny it's by far the most practical suit we've seen in Batman movies.

You can't deny it's by far the most practical suit we've seen in Batman movies.

Well, I do like that he can turn his head. Other than that, blech.

Plus, the "practical" thing is the Nolan-Batman paradox in a nutshell. There's nothing practical about an insane guy dressing up like a bat to take on crime. If you're going to do Batman, just make him Batman.

So what if Bane was portrayed by a dwarf but the take was completely serious? Like a shorter/Napoleon like figure. Sort of like Big Figure from Watchmen.

Except he's not a dwarf, he's just not as big as you would have liked, there's a difference. I think he's big enough that a good performance would overcome the lack of hulking size.

His size doesn't bother me, it bothers Nam. I was just being a devil's advocate to Zach. Though, I sort of agree with Nam. Not about comic fidelity really but it is odd that this big, bad, villain is smaller than me. You can even see it in the latest trailer when he jumps around punching at Batman like Darth Maul. I don't expect Arkham City/Arkham Asylum Hulk size but the guy isn't even 6'0. Bane's always been this big man, formidable man.

I think Bane is a little generic and dull though. That's my problem with him. He appears to be no better than Whiplash from Iron Man 2.


That poster and a few other things give me hope but I'm reluctant to claim that the character is anything more than mediocre at this point and time.
