I bet he's standing on someones car again.

It's clear that he's trying to start a new viral sensation in the vain of "planking" and "owling" called "Batting." For those out of the know, "Batting" is when you stand stoically on top of a stranger's car and hope they don't call the cops before your friend gets a picture for the internet. Bonus points for any of the following:

-Wearing a Batman mask
-Wearing a muzzle
-Standing on a Police Car
-Standing on a Military Vehicle
-Talking in loud, funny voices
-Doing the Batusi
:lol

So pissed. Went to see the Tumbler here in Chicago yesterday and it wasn't there by the time I got there. The website lists times but apparently they left early. Anyone else have the chance to see it yet? Good luck is all I can say. They have it in these places on weekdays during daytime hours. You'd have to take off work or something. I would have if it isn't such a hassle to get a substitute teacher and make up plans for them. And at the end of the school year? Couldn't justify taking off. I booked it right after work and raced down there, paid for parking, walked for a few city blocks, and when I got there, nothing.:mad::mad:

Would love to contact them and _____ them out. So frustrating. I'd been looking forward to it since the news first hit. Love the Tumbler.

What's the website?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The tumblers are small and fairly unimpressive in person. People are making a really big deal out of the tumbler tour and I'm surprised at how worked up people are getting. I don't even think the ones on tour are the ones that were actually in the movie, like the one they keep on display at all times in the Warner Brothers Vault in Burbank. Now the Batpod is pretty cool.

If you guys see these things, or if they're in town and you get a chance they're pretty cool but don't beat yourself up if you miss it. It's not even coming to my area at all

Wrong

The one on display in Burbank IS indeed one of the ones that they use in filming

Same with the Batpod

I saw them at WB in Burbank last summer just before they were shipped off for filming - we were told that we're the last batch of people seeing them in the current run due to TDKR filming

The Tumbler was easily the most impressive vehicle they had on display there IMO

That's pretty cool but why do they KEEP USING THAT SAME IMAGE!! :lol

Cuz Bale's 38 and couldn't handle wearing the suit beyond filming :lol

On a serious note though, I feel like they didn't shoot Batman too dynamically for marketing, look at all the magazine covers and such, he's pretty much just standing upright in boring poses.

could be worst

I think I've figured it out. Its a conspiracy ...

Alfred and Lucius are working with Ras Al Ghul to take down Batman. Or maybe Bruce Wayne is actually a lunatic ... and they're just working together to humor a guy that thinks he's Batman.

that's such a wonderful shot, thanks for posting it snakedoc. :)

always heartwarming to see actors you admire in a natural setting that makes them seem like a bunch of regular guys.
