I'm not ignoring it. I simply and momentarily forgot what thread I'm in and that the Nolancompoops are in such a deep-squatting phase on the pole with TDKR on the horizon that they pull an Adam Savage:

Key phrase. :wink1: :lol

And it's funny how when TDK was released, things like "inflation" and "Imax mark-up" were irrelevant but suddenly now, like calling TDK a "comic book movie" are suddenly, and quite hypocritically important.

You seem to talk an awful lot about "squatting" on Nolan's pole. Freud would tell you that nam is using transference as an ego defense. It's okay, nam, we're all open minded people here. :nana:

:dunno It's not that I dislike Nolan (void will verify this), but I don't think he's the infallible Jesus of film. :lol

Redundant means "meaningless." Oxymoronic refers to a phrase that cancels itself out. "objective" and "fact" are antonyms, and therefore when used together are oxymoronic. :wink1:

In every way you can be wrong, you are.

Redundant means repetitive -- not "meaningless". "Objective" and "fact" aren't antonyms ... "opinion" and "fact" are antonyms.

"Objective", in the context used, is the opposite of "subjective". It means "unbiased" or "impartial". Facts are inherently unbiased and impartial. Therefore, "objective fact" is repetitive ... which is the same thing as "redundant".

It is not an oxymoron. Oxymoronic means "two apparently contradictory terms appearing in conjunction" -- jumbo shrimp, living dead, etc. "Objective fact" is not contradictory.

As I said earlier...

Nolan's completely biased opinion of his own film =/= fact. :lol

I just saw this. I'm 50% unsure of whether void has posted it. He posts everything about TDKR.

What's that thingy on the bottom left?
