I ordered three tickets for "The Dark Knight Marathon." Most people I planned seeing this with at midnight backed out when I told them my plans for seeing an 8hr and 45min event for $25 a ticket. They all agreed we will see it the following weekend in IMAX. It's a win-win for me as far as I'm concerned

Same thing happened to me. I fought with Fandango servers for 20 minutes to get my Friday night IMAX tickets for myself and 10 friends, but very few people are insane enough to see the marathon, so I just got myself a ticket for that. Win-win for me too. I see TDKR at midnight on a regular screen, and then less than 24 hours later, I see it in IMAX.

bought mine as well. Reading the page they are going to have an IMAX trilogy screening and once they do I'll get that and cancel my other.

Same, AMC just posted that there'll be more details soon. Really hope one of the Ohio theaters gets the IMAX trilogy. It's something I'd love to see. Hell, I'd travel to a neighboring state to see the trilogy in IMAX.

Maybe it wasn't the right film for it, but Avenger was my first IMAX movie and I really didn't find any difference, and the seatin was worse than standar theaters so I don't think I'll ever do IMAX again.

Watching Avengers in Imax obviously not going to be much difference, it's not filmed in IMAX cameras , that's where the major difference comes in TDK, and will be likewise for TDKR i am sure
