Secondly, don't count on any cameos from anyone outside of the Batman universe, just not Nolan's style and doesn't fit with his vision.

I heard Killer Croc (guy who has a bad case of eczema), the Penguin (russian arms dealer), Black Mask (dude with a skull mask), Catwoman (cat"BURGLAR" HURR!) Talia al Ghul (daughter of some guy from the Batman Begins), Deadshot (some assassin dude) and Hugo Strange (some guy who wants to be Batman) will all be in TDKR.

I don't think I forgot anyone... oh right!

Superman will make a cameo.

Also, Batman will die at the end and the whole city will join together wearing Batman masks and stare up at the bat-signal. Cue credits.

I've heard them too. But i've read a Charles Roven interview denying them - of course, they could still be true, but I don't trust the sources.

Going off of what Nolan has said "No other hero cameos" so that Superman tidbit is out, he has said that over and over. The only Superman cameo originally planned was a Clark Kent cameo in TDK that was cut waaaaay early on by Nolan and a Clark Cameo in GL that was also cut. Although they wanted Welling for Clark in GL. Second, all of those villains may be shown, it is Nolan's style to give us winks at things but I guarantee you that all of them won't have even speaking parts. They'll be one major villain, one secondary villain and cameos.

BB: Major Villain: Ra's Al Ghul. Secondary Villain: The Scarecrow. Cameo: Mr. Zsasz, possibly others I have really looked.

TDK: Major Villain: The Joker. Secondary Villain: Two-Face. Cameo: The Scarecrow.

I don't see Nolan breaking that trend.

First up, a source tells us that Eva Green and Naomi Watts have been cast in the film. The source doesn’t know which roles they’re playing, but believes they’ve been cast as Talia al Ghul and Vicki Vale, respectively.

The same source also tells us that principal photography is set to begin on May 6th with post-production set to begin on November 28th.

Our source "Raphael" tells us that the new Batmobile (aka The Tumbler) has been redesigned as a sleeker version, but still powerful and with all the gadgets. As for the Batcave, it will be the same cave we saw in Batman Begins and they’re attempting to keep the classic stuff like the circular bay for the Batmobile, but keep the look modern. They’re also setting up the Batcomputer and storage for the Batsuits.

Sources tell Heat Vision that Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Biel (pictured, top left) are due to test for roles in the Warner Bros. superhero tentpole in the next two weeks. Also testing are relative newcomers Kate Mara (top right) and Charlotte Riley (bottom left). Hot British actress Gemma Arterton (bottom right) has also scheduled to test but, as Heat Vision first reported last week, Arterton just landed the female lead in Paramount's Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and might now have scheduling issues.

IF Talia is actually in it and a main villain I'd love to have her explain the ideas of a Lazarus Pit to Batman who would be skeptical going along with Nolan's reality setting only to have the camera pan over to Ras watching and then never show him again. That is all that is needed to make the internet explode with nerd fandom and you don't have to worry about bogging down the film with yet another villain.

While I'm expecting this to be good, it sounds like they are really slamming in the cameos from the Batuniverse if any of this is true and that would upset me. X3 overloaded. Spider-Man 3 overloaded and both films suffered.

I think the movie would be fine if it had alot of cameos, as long as they truly are cameos like Zasz and not like Scarecrow. It's when they have a cameo just to get a character in that it suffers, but if there is a scene where Bruce is having dinner, why not make it at the Iceberg Lounge?
