Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I thought she did make a comment about him saving her twice. Maybe I'm making that up. Too bad, woulda been kinda fun since Batman says, "Screw it" the third time...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I guess that stuff is what the virals are for. It's better not to be tied with ____ between movies.

Batman didn't really crash the train...it was whoever the hell the cops pinned ra's and the scarecrows' doing on. And they use the footage of batman flying from the train at the end over and over and over again during all that mike engle gotham tonight crap.

Harvey dent and the mayor talking about "the batman" in interviews is enough mention of all that stuff as far as I'm concerned.

Although by the end of TDK batman and the joker destroyed alot of public property.

I agree about the destruction BM did in TDK.

I counted many people just sitting in their parked cars minding their own business just eating their subway sandwiches and drinking their cherry cokes when BAM, Batman arrived all pissed off and in a hurry riding his rubber motorcycle when he proceeded to kill them all with his rocket propelled grenades.

None of that is brought up because it doesn't need to be brought up.

It's just for people to nitpick about on forums. :monkey5

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Yeah it's like that scene in Austin Powers with Rob Lowe playing the friend of a henchman. There comes a point where you either want a movie about Batman, or one about the people around him who were affected by his actions.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Since this is a redemption story I wonder if it'll be warmer tones like orange or red. The contrast of the second but keeping a connection in the color wheel to the first.

Good call - my money is on Orange / Red - basically colours you see at dawn - 'the dawn is coming'.

Would have to be quite subtle though so as not to wash out the colours in the film

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I hope the movie is in spepia tone. Like in Windows Movie Maker.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

it would be cool in red but that would be like B&R.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

well...it's not like underworld where everything is blue or something. Batman begins wasn't entirely orangeish the whole time and the dark knight wasn't blue the whole time either.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

If that's the case we'll need sunscreen for the Imax theaters.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I was just thinking that purple might be a good choice, and logged on just to say so. It is where warm and cool colors intersect, so it would make sense for a final chapter.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises

I think they're going to stick to the orange and blues and a "natural" look. Depending on where a scene takes place.
