TLOU only made me nervous, especially the sewer section where the Stalkers don't come running at you immediately and I try to wait for them to come to me. But no game in almost the last 10 years has "scared" me.

I did play the first three Fatal Frames in the last few years and those were terrifying.

Last time I remember being startled in a game was the Warden's office in Bioshock:Infinite where you turn around and the Boy of Silence is in your face. :horror

Last game to scare me was FEAR .

I had a couple games scare me. Fear 2, bioshock infinite and dead space 2. That damn happy face sun!!!

I have my doubts about this.. I don't know if it will scare me... but I'm sure I'll love the gameplay.

As a fan of the original Silent hill, this game gives me some hope it'll be a solid horror title. The RE influence is undeniable, but definited rooted in Survival horror and not action as later titles in the RE series

I must say that actually owning a PC that can play modern games practically pays for itself when you compare PC to console game prices. Just ordered it from shopto.net (as they have a track record of getting the games to you early) and i ordered it for PC £24.85. And ps4/XB1 are £48.85.

Downloading is good for ease, all the PC games i own now are from steam. But whenever possible ill buy on-disc. You need to start buying extra hard drives to store them on, quite often when you do download games you are tied to a user account so you need to be logged in to whatever in order to play it & you dont actually have anything physical to show for your purchase
