But people keep bringing up resident evil, and seeing that there is a market for survival horror still. But then use TLOU as "why" there is a market for survival horror when i personally dont think its the reason why Evil within is popular now.

There ya go, see if you would have maybe started with that instead of what you said this entire conversation would have went better.

TLOU is not horror per say, it's more character driven action, drama and thriller, some horror yes, but the evil within has it's own market, it's full fleshed survival horror, don't see how there's a correlation between TLOU and TEW, except that everybody expects a good story from TEW like TLOU delivered.

I personally don't think of TLoU as horror, myself. Sure, its has some intense *** moments, but its more survival adventure myself.

Well, I liked last of us...whatdoIknow?

:lol he got all the hate cause he was calling people fanboys being a fanboy himself, nothing wrong with your opinion.

I think TLOU was superior to MGS4 in terms of story, in terms of Gameplay MGS4 was a little better.

:goodpost: It was a much better game, and it was released back in 2008... :panic: I understand people hate old snake and all that but the game overall was a masterpiece

MGS4 is so well made, technically speaking, that it still holds up better than most games released these days, it still is a blast to play.

Gotta love ppl hoping for a better graphic in game yet having no problem with so-so sculpts/figures by HT.

:exactly::goodpost:

Its really is a blast to play, the final boss fight still gives me the chills :lol

Which one? Liquid? It's probably one of the hardest boss fights in MGS history, it was equally entertaining as well as frustrating :lol

Personally, I enjoyed sneaking through an entire map unnoticed more satisfactory.

I totally get Last of Us isn't everyone's cup of team, and its all good.
Hell, I still enjoy the original silent hill, and that's 1999 level graphics, so there ya go!

I think its quite sad that the only mgs game ive ever played was MGS4 and also rising. No idea what the hell was going on but I beat both.

:lol

I've never played the original on PS1. But I played that remake for the GC. I've played 2 and 3. Never 4. And none of them handheld ones either. But I follow this series like a hawk.
