Flaming is an activity that only occurs on the Sideshow Freaks board as on MediWorld we all get on and respect each other's opinion
Seriously, I think flaming is abit subjective and sometimes people can misread or misunderstand a comment and take it as flaming when it isn't. What you would and wouldn't consider flaming depends upon your own personal opinion and you as an individual.
Personally, I think if there's a figure you don't like or something, you state you don't like it and give a reason behind it, rather than just saying it sucks and that way your opinion is backed up with some kind of evidence. If you disagree with someone's opinion you state you don't agree without belittling their point of view and say why. That way you aren't making it a personal attack.
I agree with the if you don't like it, don't buy it scenario, so I don't see the point in stating a company has personally offended you. But I do think that if a company isn't performing as well as it should be, like opinions regarding SW 1/6 you should be able to say so, whether it's a freaks board or not, people are entitled to their opinion and as long as you are just giving your opinion and not flaming, you're entitled to say what you think even if the majority of other users disagree.
That's my take on it anyway
