WB/Gunn/Muschietti:

“Post credits will set up the new Gunnverse and officially END the Snyderverse!”

JYE:

“No it absolutely does not you literally had
2 Snyder characters in the post credits close out the movie!”

WB :slap
Maybe they meant the first credits scene and Clooney is back as Batman!!!!

Let the celebrations commence!

Review time!

If you want to see a stunt man doing really REALLY cool stuff in a modern 89 costume go see this!

However if you want to see the return of Tim Burton’s Batman this AIN’T FOR YOU!

There was no reason it had to be him!

Hands down worst universe cameos ever with laughably embarrassing cameo cgi and the worst end credits scene ever DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WAITING FOR IT!

I thought the cameos
were going to interact in the story like in DS2
but NOPE!

I will admit that I was completely floored by the end character reveal before the credits I was not expecting that whatsoever BUT WHY!

Umm what else.

WB please give all DC rights back to Snyder ASAP!

One word for The Flash.

DISAPPOINTED!

Make that 2 words..

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS NONSENSE..
THE 89 BATMOBILE WASN’T EVEN FREAKING USED…AT ALL! :slap

OK, found it.

What I figured... good to know you CAN resist nostalgia-bait from time to time.

Really this movie ends the the snyderverse? I better watch this movie with my finest bottle of champagne

This was nostalgia cut with fentanyl.

Fitting for today's ADD generation and the old peckers who lace their drinks.

I just can't get into this multiverse thing. It's like I'm in 3rd grade again arguing about which comic character would win in a fight if all of them could be in one super-comic.

The "wouldn't it be cool if" scenario...

Wouldn't it be cool if Darth Vader rode a T-rex into a battle with Terminator T-800s led by Thanos? Not really. Not as a movie with a through storyline that has to explain it.

But if you were in 3rd grade you wouldn't care about the explanation that got him there - it's Darth Frakkin' Vader riding a T-Rex!!!! :lol

I'm curious how this will fare at the box office this weekend. There were only TWO other people at the 4pm screening I attended yesterday. Granted, it was early on opening day and most schools are still in session here but I still expected more than that for one of the supposed BIG movies of the summer. A sign of the post-Covid, post-peak CBM times? 7 to 10 years ago that theater would have been packed.

All I can see is so far IMO the June blockbusters are living up to the hype…big films that were projected to be hits in June have delivered so far from TLM , ATSV and Flash even Transformers surprised me as decent film ..IMO..so it’s nice to see that for a change which hasn’t been around for a while.

I’m hoping with the last film ending the month of projected June blockbusters…Indiana Jones will complete the process of films matching the hype in one month of the summer projected blockbusters

The only concern is that maybe July might take a dive because so many of the hit films were crammed into June :dunno

Bit disgusted to hear about a particular cameo.
Yeah, they went a bit too far with the Ghost of Health Ledger's Joker cameo.

Only $70? Didn't Little Mermaid make near $100 opening weekend? Of course, that's a flop now.
Give it a chance .. summer just started this week for many of the targeted audience..wait until word passes around , this film will make bank by summers out

I just expected this to grab alot more early attention... and early tickets.

Batman beat by Little Mermaid... who would have thought?

In the end, I do expect this to make more than that movie. I would hope so anyway. I'm actually glad the Little Mermaid tanked. I hope that stops Disney from mining its very limited range of IPs from cartoon to live-action and from turning its live-action movies into cartoons.

I saw this today. I expected to absolutely hate it. I'd seen all the recent clips and cameos and end credit sequences online because I didn't care at all.

I actually enjoyed it for the most part. Similar to how I enjoy Aquaman, there's enough good in it for me to enjoy it. Not what I wanted but not unwatchable.

The action scene at the start. Batfleck was good, Barry's part was poor. Batfleck in costume stood talking was absolutely terrible. He's not even wearing boots, it's like a onesie! Poor Josstice League style humor.

Keaton was better than I thought. The "I'm Batman" and "Nuts" lines don't work, at all. His score kicks in from time to time. Was great to hear but somewhat jarring too. His action scenes were decent. Not possible but decent enough to watch. Nothing comes even slightly close to the BvS warehouse scene. The stuntman looked good in the suit, Keaton did not.

Supergirl was fine.

The speed force worked in some ways but not in others.

The score was very generic. The FX were shocking at times. Surprisingly so.

Ezra's personal life aside he acting his *** off in this movie. Bloody excellent!

The humor should have been turned down 10-15%. Some of the humor reminded me of ZSJL. Laugh out loud funny but not too cheesy. There were times when it went full cheese and it would have been much better without it. Some of the lines and scenes in the trailers that I wasn't expecting to work actually did. Context is everything.

The 3rd act wasn't as good as the first two but it wasn't bad.

It's not Snyderverse although it definitely tries to be canon to Zack's movies but drops the ball too often with details that don't really fit.

I was expecting a 2/10 but probably ended up with a 6/10. Small edits here and there could improve that, maybe.
