I don't think the movie ended in

The Schumacher verse, just like how Barry didn't go into Burton verse. The universe he came in just happened to have a similar version of Burton's Batman. That was just their way of saying anything is possible and the chains are off. DC is now an endless multiverse that they can either just leave the (Snyderverse) world at the end of the Flash or continue it anytime that they want. Although I must admit, I felt like changing Keaton to Clooney in the end was the wrong decision. The audience could have gotten a bit of an emotional payoff if they kept the original ending with Keaton in it.
Had it been
real Burton Batman
and then yeah it would’ve been a great payoff to have Keaton
alive at the end but since it was fake Burton Batman
seriously who gives a crap.

That’s my big problem with this movie:

1. Fake Burton Batman (Jake Wayne)

2. Retired with dumbest excuse ever even worse than the TDKR excuse.

You’re too obsessed with canon Jye. All these super duper hero movies are silly when it comes to continuity, including Marvel.

After disappointments like TDKR, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and all the new Star Wars sequels etc. I’ve become more lenient on big dumb blockbuster movies.

People can piss themselves off trying to connect this story to whatever, but at the end of the day, these “Multiverse” movies are the equivalence of having a dream. Larger than life, usually very dumb and making little to no sense. I walked out of this the same way I did with No Way Home, “alright, cool”. I got a couple of neat moments from Dafoe, Maguire and Keaton I didn’t think were possible and that was about it. I will probably never watch either movie again.

My relationship with silver screen Batman as a character after the past decade has changed dramatically. We’ve had Bale, Affleck, Lego Batman, Pattison and Keaton in such a short time frame. I’m at the point now where they are all the same. Even the lambasted Kilmer and Clooney iterations don’t seem as bad anymore considering the sheer number of identical stories that have come out since the 90s. It seems childish to say this one is better than this one when they all do the same ****. This Flash movie cemented how I felt about Batman for a few years now.

A tired franchise in need of a break.

If you’re going just for Keaton this movie sucks at so many levels.

Yeah sure stunt guy Keaton action was really good but…

Not real 89 Batman
Lame retirement excuse (Last Jedi had a better excuse for Luke’s retirement!)
Couldn’t infiltrate russian base on his own.
89 Batmobile not used.

89 BATMOBILE NOT USED!!
:slap

Every actor that has action scenes has a stunt double. We’ve seen it heavily with Affleck and Pattison, why are we ripping Keaton for having one. He had it in ‘89 and Returns too (in fact, those guys have all come out of the woodwork to get recognition for it on social media platforms too). Why is that a point of contention?

Bruce Wayne being comfy listening to his Chicago albums while painting and making pasta > Bruce Wayne wearing robes and shooting arrows at his maids > Luke being a bum living with Porgs

That Batmobile was never going to get a driving scene in the 2020s. It’s a national treasure, a museum piece.

It should have been a
de-aged Nicholson as Joker getting out of the car with a de-aged Kim Basinger's Vicky Vale in tow, and he walks up to Barry and goes

I didn’t mean it as a negative I loved his action scenes even more so than Affleck’s.

I loved seeing Keaton Batman finally not being stiff for once, he kicked serious ass, as good as BvS warehouse in its own way.

I might go for a repeat viewing tonight wanna go, Wor-Gar is busy lol

Holy cameos batman! I had quite low expectations for this but honestly I loved this film. Much, much more than anything marvel have brought out in the last few years. I don't know how they could have done it better - except for a higher budget to make the CGI better. Apart from that, it was great! Ezra was really good too, aside from stuff happening in the real world. Go in with low expectations but also expect to be pleasantly surprised lol

Movie is underperforming hardcore!

Projections now lowered to as low as 60 :horror

Like this is a serious consecutive disaster for WB THREE IN A ROW! :slap

Black Adam, Shazam now Flash!

60!!! :thud:

I mean it’s WBs fault. Took forever to make the film, hired a psycho and then didn’t address the situations the psycho did . Yup
They did market the hell out of this movie though I mean even Tom Cruise and Otomofan did advertisement!

Goodbye Sacha it was nice knowing you her career ended after only 1 movie, damn.

She has an awesome personality and cute too, shame.

Uslan gonna hang himself.
