No but I made a few noises. I don't mean the front of the arm. Although that hurts too. You'll see what I mean.

Ok here it is! It may need a few touch ups once healed but that is to be expected on a piece this large. I am soooo happy it is done. The underneath near the hairy armpit hurt like I can't even describe!

Tonight we worked on the tail. Then he went and tightened up some of the feathers and added more highlights all over. He also made the eye much more green.

I am very happy with it though. It has been an almost 2 month journey to get this completed and about 13 hours under the needle.

I am done for a while now. The first half actually hurt but wasn't so bad. Laying on the table and getting that under part done I was almost talking to myself in my head. I was like "Dude NEVER again!"

Now I have the itch to look forward too. My artist cut me a hell of a break too! I won't discuss it but he ^^^^ing ruled! Put is this way, I am no longer stressed about money.

Any touch ups as well are on the house!

He said about 3 hours. The pain I can deal with. If it itches as bad as the first part then I just may cry.

I almost lied here. I wanted to quit so damn bad but just couldn't.

Looks awesome Keith! I LOVE what he did with the tail - and yeah, when you get into that side and under arm area - it sure is tender! There were a couple moments when I was like holy hell! But I was as silent as a mouse. No noises or screams from me.

Anyway, it's a beautiful tattoo Keith and I love the detail he added.

Thanks Jen! I was silent until the arm pit stuff. Then I was all about how much longer. I LOVE the tail because it is the flames starting to regrow into a full on Phoenix. The pain right before the re-birth. I felt that pain yet again tonight.

My artist is doing free touch ups too - I'm going to go get a little more color around the beak area and the top of the bird's head. Gotta wait until July though before I can get it done.

I love the artists that actually care about the art. Like us! They want it to mean something to them too! That is a true artist IMO.

Thanks man! Yeah it does look small. Poor guy! However, I don't know that I could ever cover it up. It was my first. My mom took me when I was 16 and was an experience I'll never forget.
