Most Warrant Officers don't go to college......... The benefit to having W.O.s is that they bring enlisted experience to the Officer ranks and help bridge the gap between the enlisted guys and the Zeros.


And as any good officer should do he lets the Top Enlisted guy handle his business.

More guys would come home if this happened more often. Unfortunately, more often than not butterbars like to start pissing contests with their NCOs.

Yeah, but Flint did. Rhodes Scholar, too.

But that's actually one of the changes I actually liked about the movie - they made Duke a major. However, I think he should have at least STARTED the story as the top sergeant, and then forced to commission so he could 2 i/c the team.

And that's when Beach Head takes over Duke's old position. At least, that's how I like the story to go.

As I was pre-ordering another figure on sideshow today I was wondering. I could probably be saving some major cash if I ordered from on-line stores instead of direct from sideshow. There is the factor of getting points from sideshow but still... I'm not new to toy collecting but am relatively new to the sideshow experience. Anyone with any thoughts? Pro-Cons ? I just kinda wanted another opinion. Thanks in advance !

No Sideshow Exclusives = removal of Elite™ status.

You can save a few bucks, but when pre-ordering from Sideshow, you get the reward points you mentioned, but you also get peace of mind that if you get a defective / broken product, Sideshow will make it right. Besides, more often than not the exclusive pieces are better than the regs, and you can only get the exclusives through Sideshow. So if you want to be Elite, go with Sideshow.

Who was trying to do a custom Quick Kick? I remember they were using Bruce Lee's head but that's too iconic of a sculpt.

Anyways....Toy Anxiety has a break down of Hot Toys Friend. That sculpt seems pretty decent and might suit better with a slight mod.

Out of the box I have to agree with you but with a little mojo I think he's great. Definitely one of my favorite headsculpts from SSC. In the tiny amount of face showing they packed in a lot of emotion!

he added the gold cord and shoulder thingys, painted the silver parts on the knife and belt buckle gold, and added guantlet gloves.
