Look what a french fellow (Knarf from fanacollec) has found on the page of the sweeney todd RAH = Old post no more pics or 360 for it now.

It's real, it's Hot Toys. They are still working out the details - licensing, approvals, etc.
Please help keep the image from propagating.

That's a Hot Toys base and an older one....since the new style with Batman and Joker have the crotch holder instead of the waist.

Huh...

We knew Sideshow had the rights to the 12" Don, but we've never seen one - let alone the 1:1 bust they have been working on for over a year!

I wonder if Sideshow is updating their bases now to look more like Hot Toys? I can't imagine Hot Toys made this and Sideshow is just distributing when Sideshow is the one with the rights.

Looks great though! I know I'll buy one!

Those look like the new style HT relaxed hands as well. Whoever's making it, I want one.

Looks like a SSC product image with HT type stand. SSC is not using the under leg holder so this could very well be a SSC proto.

Then again it could be a HT product SSC is distributing? They have the 12" Brando license. I'm betting it is and it looks absolutely great.

A Must Buy!

Good catch! Sideshow doesn't have a "relaxed" right hand yet, just the left, and even then the one in the turn around doesn't look like it - looks like Hot Toys to me. Very strange!

Those French guys are good! I know a couple of years ago they were able to blow all/most of Sideshow's Toy Fair surprises by knowing their system product number pages! Sideshow eventually had to pull them until they were offically unveiled!

Maybe Hot Toys made them an offer they couldn't refuse! :lol

Could this be the next M Icon figure, and might Sideshow be distributing it like the Giant James Dean and Wild One Brando?

Could be, but like I said, Sideshow's got the 12" Godfather license unless they leased it to Hot Toys like Hasbro is doing to the Star Wars rights to Sideshow.

But we usually NEVER hear of a new Hot Toys product from Sideshow! Usually Hot Toys has announced it or its been leaked in Asia before we even get a preview from Sideshow.

SSC and HT seem to have a very close working relationship. Perhaps this is an SSC product that has been farmed out to HT to produce for them? :huh

That would be very interesting! That would also give hope for future items Sideshow might not feel up to (ie Chewie, vehicles, Grevious, etc). This is almost SDCC announcement big! I wonder why this was held back?

HT has the Brando Estate 12" License. That's why I now think this is a "Vito" or some GF derivation they're doing ala the Brando WW Figure.

It also looks like a yulli sculpt. I may be wrong there but whoever did the sculpt, it is amazing.

You might be right, if you zoom in on the face a bit you can see some texturing - the telltell sign of a Hot Toys sculpt. Either that or they shared that secret with Sideshow finally.
