It's real, it's Hot Toys. They are still working out the details - licensing, approvals, etc.
Please help keep the image from propagating.

:rock :rock :rock

I was right! I was right!

Good thing I saved the photos because who knows if/when they'll be up again. :D

Bad Dennis. Bad !

He looks good though. I don't see the harm on acquiring the license. He looks great.

But Sideshow has it (the license). That is what is so strange. A Hot Toys item being found on Sideshow's website of all places, when Sideshow has that license.

It does look great though. There should be zero compliants on the sculpt/likeness.

Sideshow has a Godfather license, but do they have the 12" Godfather license?

Also, HT did the sculpt so HT must be trying to acquire the 12" Godfather license.

Yes, Sideshow has the 12" figure license.

Sideshow is proud to add The Godfather collection of 12-inch Figures, Premium Format Figures, and Life-size Busts depicting Don Vito Corleone to its growing range of iconic film characters. Sideshow will debut the Premium Format Figure at San Diego Comic-Con and will be available for pre-order at an expected retail price of $249.99.

He did look great. Better than the PF and I am quite a fan of the PF. I doubt it will happen, but I would love to see a line fleshed out with a young Vito, Micheal, Sonny, Hagan, and Fredo.

Multiple companies can have the same license right? I mean Star Wars 12'' is done by Hasbro, Sideshow, and Medicom. The Dark Knight 12'' is done by DC, Hot Toys, Medicom, and Mattel.

Of course they can. Usually HT gets an international license which is a whole different arena than the US licensing.

Depends on the license/contract. Hasbro is actually leasing the Star Wars 12" figure license to Sideshow, which no doubt adds a higher price to the figures.

Hot Toys' Dark Knight is for Hong Kong/Japan only. DCD is for USA.

I wouldn't count Medicom as a 12" line ;)

The link on the first page doesn't work for me.

Nevermind, I found out they didn't want the pics leaked. Read further on after posting.

Then again it could be a HT product SSC is distributing? They have the 12" Brando license. I'm betting it is and it looks absolutely great.

A Must Buy!

Beat ya to it Mike. :lol

Joking...

Anyway I gotta say most of the Guys called this as a HT Piece. It is a truly gorgeous piece and I'm happy to hear HT and SSC are continuing to work together.

Thanks for the info Dave. :rock

DCD is going to be bringing the Hot Toys stuff stateside though.

Well DC = DCDirect, so as the licensee, they can import them if they want. Which they didn't at first, but came to their senses when they saw we were buying them anyway. Guess they figured they'd like chuck of that $$$ too.
