The ESB is the more blue one, but even though the ROTJ looks grey it is more khaki, or tan...though it's an off shade. The GG statue is very tan, but the RTJ costume is tan.

It would be cool if GG made concept statues based on Ralph McQuarrie work.

I still think that the sculpt is nice, but would wholeheartedly agree that GG's paint is mostly sub-par. I have found it to be from a few elements (I think), their differing materials used and a more glossy finish.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of the glossy paint. I think you lose a lot of the details in the sculpt. GG's strength is still the busts, but what it can capture in the busts it loses in the statues. GG does make some nice products (I love their maquettes), but overall I'm happier with Sideshow's work.

I agree, tell everybody the edition is only 50 and it would be the greatest statue ever made. I think it looks better then all the SS Han's, its not exact but its not that bad.

I saw this today at Toynk Toys.The paint and sculpt on the body was nice and I don't really mind the glossyness,but the paint on the headsculpt was trash.The hair wasn't so bad but the paint on the face was horrible.And yes I stopped by the toy store after I got out of the hospital,but only cause it was close by.

Just got mine tonight. Likeness isn't that bad. Better likeness than the PF, but still not perfect. Of course it is smaller scale and less detail, but still a great piece if you collect GG.

Definitely one of the most iconic pieces GG has produced. From that standpoint, if you are a GG fan, this wouldn't be all that bad of a purchase. I still like the PF better, though.

It truly amazes me that these sculpts are so subjective and everyone sees something different. Personally this sculpt doesn't really capture Ford for me, and I think Trev's Indy 1/6 and the Cinemaquette are the best renditions we've seen of him.

I know everyone is just trying to wind up CF, but to reiterate, whether it's SSC or GG product or a newbie custom - comments like "that sucks" or "it's crap" aren't very constructive.

DId you notice, though, that the picture of the sculpt pictured on the package is WAY BETTER than the final product? -Reffering to the Sideshow PF version. I have yet to get a good answer as to why.

I don't think that likeness is better than the PF at all. I am glad I got out of this line and sold all but the Fett, 3PO and Slave Leia I have in my Jabba set up.

because the pic on the box was the prototype(not "mass produced" paint app but "individually" painted) and the one inside the box was the production/final version. PF sculpt is great..paint app is not great.

anyone repainted the Han PF?

Mine needs some touching up(it feel off a shelf) maybe I should see if someone will repaint him.

You should send it off to one of our esteemed customizers... I know Josh has done some PFs in the past. I for one would love to see a repainted Han PF, it would probably make a world of difference.
