Great job with this podcast Eamon. Is it just me or do you guys all buy about 80-90% of all Hot Toys releases? It makes for good review discussion but I have no idea how you guys afford so many of these figures in a year. Keep up the good work. :clap

Thanks man!

The guys get sent review samples and I may get the odd one too.

Most of my Hot Toys were bought using money from selling all my other non MOTU toys and doing small commissions.

I only appear wealthier than I really am! ;)

Love, love, love the podcast :)

Thanks guys. Count me subbed :)

Yay!, new listers! Glad you like it and thanks!

I will get back to you on your message too!

Enjoyed the last episode, will you be covering Joker 2.0 in the next one

We may have a guest on the next one but I know James is dying to review that one personally so we will just have to see how it goes time wise.

Looking forward to it Eamon :) nothing wrong with doing a 3hr special too...just putting it out there ;)

Will have the fire stoked and brandy ready for some upmarket classy listening.

Looking forward to that.
Are you going to be removing your Modelzone ad for this one?

I really don't know. I have emailed them with no reply and all their tweets have stopped.
If I don't get a reply I guess I will have to remove it.

Tis a shame really. I was really rooting for a decent reliable UK high street store to be supplying Hot Toys.

I kept suggesting that they need Hot Toys and more pop culture stuff in the windows as all they ever had was stuff like cars and tanks which has very limited appeal. You stick some Hot Toys Avengers on there and watch folks walk into the store. :dunno

They may yet rise from the ashes.
No HT in the window or on shelves was a crit i always levelled at my "local" Modelzone store(It's 70 miles away).
If they had them there at the web prices, i would likely have always made a spur of the moment purchase when i was in there.
I hope they pull through.

Awesome, glad I stumbled across this. I'll be listening for sure.

Cool! Let us know what you think! :)

I hope so too. I cannot help but feel that there are many average joes that would buy the odd Hot Toy if they saw them in a shop window!

Yeah, that was what i meant with my previous message...

For sure.
The only place i usually put my foot down and DON'T buy a HT figure is Forbidden Planet.
I saw a Reeve Superman in the one in Glasgow for £280.
:horror
