I just got back to my desk after a long lunch where I was worried about not being able to get Legolas. Very happy that I could. A bit surprised at the large edition size, but ultimately, that doesn't matter much to me at all. Just happy I was able to get the exclusive.

Congrats BillDoor with your new collectible.

I almost always have problems with the Priority Preorders (Han being the worst), but this time I got lucky, and you can add me to the 3 minute order list. Site seems to be getting better and better. Thanks, Chris!

Glad to hear it!!

I actually forgot all about the pre order hour or two later checked and he is still for sale so got him.
I dont think the LOTR figures should be priority pre order myself unless the edition size is below a 1,000.

QUESTION: Anyone know if there's a hole in the elven cloak so you can pose Legolas with his cloak AND quiver?

The DiD cloak had a hole for the quiver, so maybe this will too. Look at the movie. I'm pretty sure whatever was done there, will also be done for the figure.

Would you believe I had a harder time with this one than Mynock Han? Weird.

Still, 1:03 and my cell did the job! :banana :banana

Got mine via telephone as I don't have 'net access at work, but the order went smoothly. I see the exclusive is still available, so I could have waited til I got home to order, but who knew? So, it's been 3 hours 20 minutes, and still not sold out! Guess the estimates will have to be revised! I say he'll sell out by tomorrow, but don't see it happening today since there's no 'low quantity' alert up yet.

Great accessories on this one, great sculpt, and I'm REALLY glad he's not due til the 4th quarter! :banana

Thanks for the response. I do hope this is addressed.

I just posted a thread thinking my question was going to get lost again.

I got mine around 10:00 PST at my school library. Those computers are slow, but I had no trouble. He is still available even! Thats good though.

Yeah, I was super worried that I would miss it... Ended up ordering it at 1:10. Got home at 5 and he was still available! Man... all that worry for nothing.

It's a good thing though, many people wanted to be sure and have that cloak for continuity issues.. So, if you haven't... now would be the opportune moment.

I'm suprised that people are suprised it's not sold out yet. Like I posted elsewhere, the Lord of the Rings line is not nearly as popular as Star Wars and last time it took Aragorn like 6 hours to sell out. I would be suprised if Elfboy is sold out before at least 5 hours have passed.:peace

I'm not surprised at all Legolas didn't sell out in an hour or two. While he may be the best release yet for fans from SSC, I don't think the demand for the LOTR line is as crazy as the STAR WARS figures (not that it shouldn't be, but I'm not going to complain).

The lower price point was also expected because Strider came with a heck of a lot more clothing and accessories, IMHO.

Got Greenleaf at 10:02 PST (with dial up); the easiest one yet.

I was wondering how Legolas was going to wear the cloak and the quiver at the same time. While a hole might solve that, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of wearing a cloak to protect oneself from the elements (sorry about the anal realism querie here), i.e., it was like raining the whole time in TFOTR. The thought just crossed my mind.

I think the relatively weaker sales is more to do with the poor exclusive for $10 more than retailers. Not sure if it's worth the extra bucks. Of course, I bought it anyway because I must have the exclusive. :banghead
