That's the copy I have, but I didn't realize it was worth anything. After watching the entire series and finishing with ROTJ, I'm disappointed again that this show didn't get another season. I love damn near every single thing about this show--from the setting to the characters to the new designs to the stories told. I'd forgotten how creepy some of the episodes were and how well they fit into the overall feel of the series. It must have something extra going for it because this is one of the few shows that my wife will sit and watch all the episodes with me. For all the other DC shows she has her favorite episodes but won't watch the ones she's not interested in.

I didn't realized it was worth anything either, until my friend wanted to buy a copy yesterday and alerted me to the ridiculous prices. From what I can gather, the two disc set is worth more than the single disc reissue. Madness.

I'm watching BB soon since I'm done with JLU. I have the soundtrack as well, and I think the music is superb for the tone of the show. I can say I'm so glad DC hasn't F'ed with Batman Beyond yet, since I hold the source material very dearly to me, and I don't see it as a show easily adapted to live action form.

Judging by those pictures you posted, was the uncut edition only on DVD?

It blows my mind we've still yet to see Mask of the Phantasm get a proper blu-ray release.

It is a travesty. If I had my way, it'd have received a full blown 20th anniversary digibook. I'd still like to see one for the 25th anniversary in 2018, but, honestly, at this point, I'd be content if they just did it as a standard release from Warner Archives.

Both are the uncut. I can't watch the kiddie version anymore, they changed way too much.

People have been wanting that for YEARS and swore we would see something during the 20th anniversary in 2013, but DC just doesn't care. It's not BTAS, it doesn't require that much work to bring to BD since it's printed on film.

Yea, I also thought we'd see something for the 20'th anniversary. Not to mention Batman's 75th anniversary came right after that as well. The timing couldn't have been better to do something. Has anyone ever even asked Bruce Timm, Conroy, or Hamill about it? You'd think it would come up at some convention, but I can't recall ever hearing anything or seeing any quotes.

Bruce Timm wouldn't have any rights to it, let alone Conroy or Hamill. I think Paul Dini once brought up on where's the effin' blu ray release. :lol

I haven't watched anything but the uncut Return of the Joker in so long I'm not even sure I know what they cut out for the kid version. I can't imagine the film any other way. The combination of intelligence and cruelty in the Joker in the uncut version is horrifying. I remember watching it for the first time and thinking, "I can't believe they did that," but also being excited because the Joker should be a villain whose actions are terrible and have consequences. That flashback scene is one of my favorite animated Batman "episodes".

I started the first Uncharted game last night and had a blast playing it. I absolutely hate-hate-hate all the jumping though. I think I've already died 40 times just from falling. :lol The story is really good, and the voice-acting is fantastic--I'm pretty sure I've got a man-crush on Nathan Drake after only playing through 30% of the first game. It's definitely a series I'm going to continue playing--still don't know how I've gone this long without playing any of it.

Aside from many scenes being cut, a lot of the dialogue was re-recorded to sound tamer, and a few scenes were re-animated. For example, Joker dies from electrocution by tripping over a wire instead of being shot by Time Drake. Certainly not the version to see. :lol

Get used to it, since 40% of the game is monkey-simulation although to be fair you'll probably get a hang of it quickly, since the jumping is pretty much on auto-pilot. :lol

As for Drake, you ain't seen nothing yet. He definitely goes trough a character arc as you learn more about him throughout the 4 games. He is clearly some of the best videogame characters ever, and you might get a little misty eyed by the time his last scene rolls in Uncharted 4...

OK, I do remember seeing that at some point. Meh, the uncut method is much more appropriate.

I don't mind the dying so much since I don't have to replay half a level to get back to where I was each time. Most of it is just my impatience anyway.

This is going to be my next big purchase and probably the cause of my future divorce--at the very least I may have to buy a second house for my wife because this might have to take over the dining room.

Good God, how much would that cost?

The XM Sentinel diorama is around $4500 US. Darkseid is smaller than the Sentinel, but instead of 6 X-Men there are 7 JL characters so I don't know if it'll end up being that much or not (I hope it's less). The ***** will be shipping. You might want to start weight-training--it probably won't ship until 2018 though so you have time to get ripped. :lol

$4500 for the Sentinel? :horror

How are these XM statues in hand anyway? Do you think the build is better than the SS PFs?

XM statues are a completely different beast than SS PF's. They're fully sculpted instead of mixed media, and the details in the sculpt are insane compared to SS. Some of the XM statues look like they are wearing clothing because the sculpt has all the folds and texture that the costume would have. Plus, they are solid polystone (hence the ridiculous weight) instead of hollow so it just feels like that statue is better quality. Another huge plus for me is that XM throws in a ton of extras allowing for different displays. The majority of the statues come with at least one extra head and a few different arms. For example, Thanos came with 3 heads, 2 Cosmic Cubes and something like 5 different arms. A couple little extras thrown in, like a print with every statue, a sheet showing how each piece fits in the styrofoam, and a really nice, quality black box just make the whole thing feel like a premium collectible. If XM were able to do a 1/4 classic costume DC line I'd probably sell most of my SS DC PF's.
