I think I'm in a really bad eBay case. This guy sold me Dark Souls III Collector's Edition new, and not only was it clearly opened and damaged before, but it's not complete. No game, no steelbook, no OST, no starter guide...only statue, artbook, and map. The interior box is ruined, and the guy is repeatedly trying to claim he didn't rip me off. He states he has pictures of it complete...I'm concerned now.

WTF? Did the auction have pics showing the complete set? I'd still make a case with eBay since they usually side with the buyer.

It just had the box and he claimed it was new. I made the case and he's trying to BS eBay. I sent pictures of what I got.

Man, sorry to hear that. But Zod's right, eBay tends to side with the buyer so you need to put up a good fight. Take pictures, file a complaint and always be polite. No one wants to hear the ramblings of a rude *******, so be at your best behavior when reporting to eBay and PayPal.

Sorry to hear that, but I'm sure eBay will have your back if this guy is going to be a prick and fight you on it.

Yup, the seller most likely will BS his way since he knew he was selling a defective item so the best thing is to stay cool and make a good case. Don't talk smack and fall flat on your ass in 8 seconds. #CMPunk.

uhhh

I may have gotten snippy cause this guy sent so many messages (which were mostly rude and stuff) and told me to be a good human being and stuff so I just responded in the same tone while calling him out for trying to BS me. He claimed he has a sick wife, he claimed he can't take anymore losses (???) and such along with accusing me of trying to steal etc. plus he ignored a few messages of my own.

How bad is that? :horror:

Well, probably best to refrain yourself from now on if since I'm sure eBay can read your messages and even if they can't, it certainly won't help your case. That sob story was just a big excuse but even if it's true, it has no bearings on your dealings. You just want what you paid for, and since that didn't happened you now want your money back. No need for the seller to create excuses.

But since the seller has clearly not made an effort to resolve this with you, take it to eBay and tell them you've been buying/selling for X amount of times and this is the first unpleasant transaction you've experienced. Make it clear you're not out to "get" anyone and thank whoever at the other side reading your case. Most e-commerce disputes are messy when both sides can't keep a cool head.

This is actually the second time this has happened on eBay :lol :( I'll probably try to be polite but he said he would upload his own pics of it before he sent it out, which still haven't gone up. He also never responded to my last message and claimed twice he wasn't going to argue anymore. Hmm. and yeah I don't buy the story either.

And crows, do you want to be the sick husband? :monkey3

That sucks FSLAR.

How's your feedback compared to his? eBay tends to side with buyers, but NOT always.

Messages are the key, don't erase any, and try to be on your best behavior. I know it's hard, but ebay takes that into account.

Good luck.

Also, **** CM punk. Don't know what Aj saw on him.

Ehlers-Danlos causing me pain...

I have Right MCL injury atm, possibly meniscus tears again since I have no Medicaid for new knee braces since I'm in processing. My back has a fracture in L4 and some other lower lumbar parts, all the while I'm getting shakes which feel like when you have the flu. But that's the thing no sneezing, runny nose, flu related. I'm cold, I have B12, Vitamin D extreme low levels. So when I try to sleep, I'm in pain which my body is causing adrenaline just to deal with it. It's ugh...

This ****ing Monday can go **** itself. I hope all the aggravation I'm putting up with today is worth it--the rest of the week had better be smooth.
