In that case, can I have two more Skittles Batmen so Howard would finally green light my Arkham City Joker please? :monkey3

I've been waiting for that figure ever since HT announced they had acquired the Arkham City license. :monkey2
Romero Joker gave me a glimmer of hope that it could still happen.

Eh Hot Toys. Honestly I haven't bought a complete figure from SSC or HT. I really have no faith in their figures detail, accuracy and QC.

if you aren't buying any figures from SSC or HT you should be banned from the site, just saying. This IS Sideshow COLLECTIBLES after all...

I see a lot of complaining going on about the Leto Joker Batman figure, but, honestly, I'm cool with it. I ****ing hate Leto as Joker, and, if I had my way, that POS wouldn't have had a thing, but I think of it like the Tao. Yin and yang and all that jazz; if Howard didn't have a guilt complex about his 4 ****ty, Leto Jokers, he may have never been driven to make a Romero Joker.:lol

I guess we should be "grateful" that the Arkham Bats came out in the first place. I'm in the minority here, but I thought it was a fantastic figure and I really loved the details of the suit, albeit the limited articulation, cheap gauntlets and so-so cape. Forever alone Bats, sorry.

Crows... hold your tongue now. We have "New Members" here who might take your sarcasm seriously. :lol

And I plan on buying from Chronicle Collectibles, Qmx (Dave's own company) and others. Just HT doesn't have anything of interest to me besides Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and Chewbacca. SSC is a bit same with just Star Wars since they dropped the ball of JP lincense which Chronicle now owns.

And that's why it's not something that took any development time from hulkbuster or anything else.

I see this constant complaing about "delays" however people mistake a sideshow "delay" for anything from hot toys. They are two seperate things. In the last three years I found 7 figures that came out before Hot toys anticipated arrival (things like AoU bw and Cap and hawkeye ect) and only three that missed the announced Hot toys release window. And at least 25 that where in the hot toys announced window. But almost every figure got the "delay" email from sideshow becuase those are not actual delays. And when you throw out resource allocation and delays as a reason to prioritize figures then you can't justify it with the "delays" from sideshow. Those are not delays.

War machine mk1 DC and Cap CW have both been "delayed" by sideshow, while one is already released from hot toys and the other is still nearly three months from the hot toys anticipated release so it's not even close to being actually "delayed".

And you can't assume or say that fake joker had anything to do with a delay on another figure even if that figure was delayed. Yes there is only so much space in the release window, but that doesn't mean one figure costs another figure time or a delay. There's way way way to many factors involved to make it that simple. In the last nearly 20 years hot toys has not released around 1% of all figures they tease. The fact that people can list off the figures they have not released when they have shown over 500 is pretty telling. Find another company, in any industry that shows prototypes publicly, that has a production rate better? I bet you can't. Heck PI/CMC have shown at least 40 figures in 1/6 or 1/4 that never made production in the same span and only released like 6. Hot toys isn't batting 1000 but given that hey only control at best 50% of the approval and production process it's a miracle that they do as good as they do.

I'm surprised you didn't back up your opinion with someone else's pics to whom you didn't give credit. Feel free to post all you want in this thread--you're on my ignore list so I won't see it. I'm not interested in the opinion of someone that makes up "facts", lies about being at conventions, and tries to pass off other people's convention pics as theirs.

I didn't end up getting that figure after all the reviews came out. Overall, it doesn't look bad to me but I just couldn't make myself pull the trigger. It's a shame that the line hasn't been continued though. The character design of that game were fantastic.
