I ended up leaving with $3000 profit so it was a hell of a trip. I didn't sleep much though so I'm exhausted today.

I preordered the Iron Giant maquette this weekend. Then I think I'm going to try to get my wife's car paid off since I don't have much left on it. Anything left is going to a new tattoo.

They just showed her pull it out of a bag and then a quick flashback of her wearing it but it was just for a second. I haven't seen the extended version yet. My lovely wife that hates me preordered it for me so I'm going to have to watch it with her at some point. I told her that I would watch it again, but she has to sit through the entire film without her phone. She's going to regret buying it when she can't look at pictures of cats when she gets bored.

It was a mess and a far cry from how the Suicide Squad has been portrayed in the cartoons. The only positive thing I can remember from the film was that Waller was a badass. I do remember sitting in the theater and thinking that I was too "old" for the film. It was definitely geared toward the ADHD/Hot Topic/social media generation. I could have dealt with the film style more if they would have gotten the characters right and if they had written a better story, but they did neither. I watched the Assault on Arkham animated film after watching Suicide Squad and wasn't surprised that the animated film was much, much better than the live-action film. DC just seems to be throwing **** up on the screen (regardless of the obvious **** quality) and hoping people throw money at them because it's a comic book film. Unfortunately, their plan is working on the Transformers/TMNT-film audience, but just imagine how much more money they'd make if they actually gave some respect to the characters and stories they're ******** on.

Oh definitely. My disdain of the entire DCEU doesn't stem from hatred, but the love of DC. I grew up with these characters, my dad had a bookstore and we would read Death of Superman each month together and he ended up keeping a few copies instead of selling them. I love Marvel too but DC was a huge part of my life, and to see how the masses are swallowing up this garbage, defending them by saying "you're a DC hater" is just a sad sight. Without valid criticisms, DC will continue to make more of these and call it a day without any care in the world that these films are not the gold standards to which DC should be held up to.

Broke down and finally ordered a new digital drawing tablet. Bateman's art really lit a fire under my *** to get a new one, since I managed to lose the pen to my old one... and the cost of a replacement... I might as well just buy a new one. It was outdated anyway.

I bought a Wacom Intuos Touch version. Only $84. I get it tomorrow, so maybe if I get time I'll post some art tomorrow.

Broke down and finally ordered a new digital drawing tablet. Bateman's art really lit a fire under my *** to get a new one, since I managed to lose the pen to my old one... and the cost of a replacement... I might as well just buy a new one. It was outdated anyway.

I bought a Wacom Intuos Touch version. Only $84. I get it tomorrow, so maybe if I get time I'll post some art tomorrow.

That's awesome. I haven't looked at the prices for those tablets, but I would have expected any of them to be more than $84.

Really depends on what version you're looking for. Bateman got one that goes for hundreds of dollars, but the tablet itself has an HD display on it where as the one I got doesn't and you need to use the PC monitor to view the drawing.

I was going to get one for around $60 but I did research and decided this would be better since it has touch applications where you can zoom and twist the picture without having to go into the art program panel you're using. This one also has quick keys on it you can assign stuff to. A quick undo key is a Godsend.

I don't think I need to get one of the larger ones since my monitor isn't big at all, plus it's still larger than my old tablet. I still need to get a bigger one to match my high end PC now.

The reason I got a new tablet is the old one sucks, and I lost the pen for it and a replacement is basically the cost of a tablet.

Wow, what is that? You mean I could draw on that thing using a PC? I'm so left illiterate on technology, I barely know how to set up my internet.
