Less than a week til the big day, right?

Yep, Sunday. We got our booze ready.

pretty slick! i used to be able to draw many MANY moons ago... now i can't make a smiley to save my life! lol

I broke down and bought the SS Darth Maul figure with the $50 code today. Considering what's included in the box, he should have been that much from the very beginning.

I'd get it, but having no robe is pretty lazy. That's such a iconic look for him and they didn't bother. SSC moves in mysterious ways...

Yeah, pisses me off they didn't include the robe, especially for a $240 figure. The likeness is pretty damn good though, and $50 off is about what I thought the price should have been in the first place.

you could whip one together pretty easy w/ some material from joanne fabrics or michaels. all these custom capes you see for ridiculous amounts can be reproduced yourself w/ a little time and effort/trial and error. i've seen most of the same type / quality material at those places they are using to make those capes. get a yard for $5 and test it out three or 4 times before you make a final.

I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. The robe is not an absolute must-have for me, but it would be a nice addition. If I ended up being able to make 1/6 scale capes and robes then all of my figures would end up wearing them. :lol
